Nah I disagree. I think what Aderans is doing is very exciting and I strongly believe it will yield results one day. However as with all these things you've just got to temper expectations. I'm expecting either Histogen, Aderans and/or Replicel to be available in 5 years and within 10 years I expect a real cure like Team Tokyo's. Although always very difficult to predict, I think based on current progress this should be the timeframe to think in.You can have multiple transplants with Gho - even 3 or 4 to bring you to a decent NW2... why bother with these morons like Aderans etc they are leading us all up the garden path - atleast Gho has got something done unlike Washenik 10 years and a few garbage vellus hairs.
What a waste of time - why not tell us 12 months ago you wont be providing an update for the next 18 months?
Utter dickheads.Leave a comment:

There was an Aderans presentation on the bill, but it wasn't the same speaker as the May 9th presentation at the derm conference, and it was on a different subject matter. There were two presentations, and I wouldn't expect either of them to be the formal Phase 2 results just like Desmond said, but I was still hoping we might get a status update.Leave a comment:

Dr Nigam spoke to Ken Washenik - we can ask him what the status is with Aderans hopefully.
Desmond - what were you saying the other day about a scientist at Aderans developing a better method for improving their current process?? Can you expand on this? And if possible provide a link to where you found this information. ThanksLeave a comment:

LOL, sometimes you gotta love this forum
Of course Aderans is not done. They had a representative who was in for some discussion during the conference, but it was never planned as a (result) presentation. It was Desmond who started hyping it here. I always love your posts Desmond and your positive attitude, but let's just be realistic when it comes to stuff like.

Maybe Dr Nigam is the one to ask about that, seeing he has had contact with Dr Lauster.Leave a comment:

So aderans is done? or are you just assuming desmond? How the hell could they just be finished that quick?Leave a comment:

Guys, the abstracts for the Hair Research Congress have just been uploaded on Nature.com. Here's the link:
Anyone with a uni pass can access it! Unfortunately I no longer have that privilege! It'd be great if someone with access could post them up...thx in advanceLeave a comment:

Btw guys, don't you find it odd that Dr. Lauster did not attend the Hair Research Congress or the International Investigative Dermatology conference!?!
DO you think he really has moved on? If so, that's a real shameLeave a comment:

P.S. Tsuji Team is also presenting on the 8th/9th of May...let's hope we get an update from themLeave a comment:

Looks like Aderans are finished - can I be a pessimist now?And also by dr Nigam:
Spoke at length with washniek, cotsarelis, jahoda, stenn kurt,randl,phillipot,fuchs,wand,gerd,wang...and others.
Will discuss every relevant topic with you all after the end of the congess.
Fortunately most of these researchers were cooperative and open to discussions and sharing .
Some new development regarding postamide receptors, prostaglandin receptors, nano particulate delivery of activators to stemcells,dp..
Ne models of reseacrh with human hair follicle at the lab in vitro.
I have taken with all the above researchers and will post them.
Boldy is doing good work and spoke to him on skype yesterday regarding the development in the congress
If ARI are finished then I dont put much faith in Replicel - I mean its practically the same method - so all our hopes now rest on Histogen.Leave a comment:
