    cichlidfort, I think the man has a point but I also think that you have a point. You're right that it's uplifting if we find out that a cure is finally discovered or even very close to being discovered, so scientific progress is cool to learn. But it isn't going to help us in the short-term unless we figure out a way to harness the information into an actual treatment in the short term.

    So let's just say he goes, records the whole shebang, gets all kinds of info on the future of hair loss treatments. How in the f*** is that going to be any different than if no one went? Best case scenario he leaves with a bunch of information none of us can do a damn thing with. You guys end up out of pocket a couple hundred dollars and nothing but another round of the waiting game. I don't mean to be pessimistic but can someone please explain a better outcome?

    Probably around $1,500 USD for a round trip flight + another $1,000 USD to cover all other expenses (hotel, food, entrance to the presentations, buying him a voice recorder for the presentations, etc).
