GC, c5000 and iron_man have had far neater extractions than me. interesting. I can see why...

My hairs are all pointing in different directions. I think im a freak!
My extractions seemed to be causing the original technician a problem and they seem to have taken extractions from quite high up in my donor, I thought they would just take them from the "safe zone".

Nope - not at all. Check carefully the structure and/or follicular unit configurations in my photos again - and THEN tell me, what YOU can see.

    I'm curious ...

For taking the photos - yes. But "clean" for better healing?

Since Day-0 in the clinic, I did absolutely nothing; neither in the donor area, nor in the recipient area, because I have a problem:

Due to the ~10 test-grafts into 1 of my old strip-scars, I couldn't "wash" carefully the donor area yesterday (Day-1) as suggested in the instructions. Carefully cleaning somewhat the implanted hairs with just warm water in the shower (and just with very low water-pressure and without touching the grafts with the fingers!) is suggested on Day-2 = today. So the Day-2 photos show still the completely uncleaned head.

Ok, NOW I'm going to take the 1st head shower ...

Guys, I’m not really sure whether or not I should ever show a photo where you can see ALL my strip scars at a glance.
Reason: I myself freak always completely out as soon I see the photo …
Sometimes I think that not even a “natural accident” is able to create such idiotic scars.

Sure, I will try my best with photos, but what's important NOW is to TAKE further enough high quality photos at all - at least the coming 14 days or so. Sorting them (good quality vs. bad quality) and including documenting them, I can do this thereafter.

    Okay, it's time for a new photo session - namely, Day-2 ...
****ing awesome. No more to add.

Do you have pictures of the recipent area and how many hairs per graft were achieved. Maybe a run down on the numbers if possible.

Excellent photos Ironman - if you fully document your procedure photographically this is going to be hugely important, as important as the work you did with gc83uk.

Excellent picture! It will be very easy to document such a case.

I will independently monitor and analyse this same area and share my results.

ALMOST 1:1 - but not always:
In some areas 48 successful extractions out of 50 drills, sometimes -especially around the scars- 8 successful extractions out of 10 drills. The girl mentiond after the whole extraction part, that I'm "a very expensive patient", because she was forced to use and to waste all in all 6 brand new 0.6 mm needles - just to get 1400 grafts!

Anyway, the 1st photo (after shaving the whole head) took Dr. Mozart with my camera:

    Day-0

I called a couple of days ago to schedule a consultation and the receptionist said that Dr. Gho and Dr. Kristel Van Herwignen work out of the Maastricht office and Dr. Freek Broekhuijse and Dr. Novia Mozart work out of the Amsterdam clinic. The website seems to also confirm this.

Was Dr. Gho at your procedure? Or if not who was the lead Dr? I'm just curious because I would like to book Dr. Gho, but Maastricht is much more of a pain in the butt to get to than Amsterdam is from New York.

No. "The Gho-Story" - gc83uk brought this sarcasm up in another thread or forum ("Gho will tattoo "loser" in your donor area with normal FUE due to my bad behaviour") and I just "mixed" this story with what really happend. In fact, Dr. Mozart and 1 of the technician girls implanted -just for testing and just according to my suggestion- around 10 grafts into the fattest scar with the stick & place technique, that's all. And yeah, of course I have also photos from this separate procedure. They did it after the front area was almost done.

Yes, what you say is correct. They told me the same. Dr. Gho is just once a month in the Amsterdam-clinic and just for doing business. So no, he wasn't there on the day of my treatment - just Dr. Freek Broekhuijse (the guy could ALMOST -but just almost- beat me with being "funny and sarcastic"!) and Dr. Novia Mozart - she lives since 10 years in Holland, has 2 little boys (5 and 2 and another one is in the work) and she is married with a Dutch guy, who brought her 10 years ago from Indonesia (where she got her medical doctor degree) to Holland, and since 4 years, she lives in Amsterdam with her family. She works for the HSCI since 1 year - including the "hefty" (according to her) HST training program, she mentioned. She just drew the new hairline (she already KNEW exactly what I want) und made the holes in the recipient/front area - oh, and finally the 10 test-grafts for the scar. Dr. Broekhuijse served throughout the day (as well as the day before) just as 1) advisor 2) colleague, and finally 3) clinial manager, because HE is the boss in the Amsterdam clinic. But he doesn't really act like "the boss" - all people in the clinic work together as a team, that's at least what I noticed. Furthermore, I noticed that every man or women in this clinic - they are all "hand-picked" - if you understand what I mean. The latter doesn't mean that each and every person in the clinic has an IQ above 180 - even the NASA dosn't like such people when they are looking for astronauts ...ah, forget the latter.

Congrats on getting the procedure done Iron_Man. The initial impressions sound good and I hope the rest of your recovery goes equally as well. Can't wait to see the pictures.
