CB-01-03 for Acne looks to be approved by first half of 2016 and for Hair loss by first half of 2017!
CB could have great potential for those that suffer from side effects with fin. It blocks conversion of Testosterone to DHT but if it gets absorbed in to the blood it immediately breaks down into inactive metabolites.
The problem is, it is set for release in 2017 which is so long away! By then most of us will be either just shaving our heads or have gone down the path of Histogen + Aderans to fix things up!
It's a shame that this drug could have been released by 2002 but pharmaceutical companies never saw its potentials!
-Big sigh-
realistically bim is the soonest treatment that will be ready!

It should easily be the best topical around. It's a strong antiandrogen and a weak anti-inflammatory so it should kill two birds with one stone.
Best of all it is quickly metabolised to an inactive metabolite, unlike any of the other antiandrogens, so it should have basically zero systemic absorption and zero sides. It will only work in the hair follicle. It's also an androgen antagonist so it blocks both types of DHT and T as well. Like RU in that regard but safer.
It will blow fin away on all counts. And everything else, google the POC trial results, they were very promising. Five applications once or twice a week resulted in 50% increase in hair count and thickness as well as 65% reduction in shedding and a big drop in sebum production.
It has one big downside and that is getting it into the follicle. Nobody has developed a suitable vehicle yet. But they are working on it.
Also don't forget CB. Should hear something this year, if only for the acne formulation. And hopefully find out who this "major multinational specialty pharmaceutical company" is who bought the marketing rights for it. You don't fork out $25 million unless you're confident you're onto something.
I dont know alot of CB, except some people think it will be the best topical around. Is it an anti-androgen? Any more details? The acne thing is interesting. MPB and acne definately share some issues. So I guess it blocks DHT and addresses inflammation?
PGd2 blocking + histogen + aderans might equal total regrowth. Maybe its PGD2 that prevents histogen from having amazing results in regards to dormant follicles. The guys in white coats need to get together and connect the dots.

Even at grade 0 theres a shadow on my head, and within a day hair is clearly visible. If i ever have to wet shave my head with a razor, ill be very annoyed. Willing to try anything to avoid that.
One thing about RU, im worried about having it on when my girlfriend stays round at mine. One night she touched my head right after i applied RU, and later that night she had stomach cramps. The pain went away within a few hours and maybe it had nothing to do with RU. But thats another reason i prefer to not keep it on at night.
Really need this pgd2 stuff to come through. Zero sides, and no hormone manipulation. But I am thankful for RU. Worked very quickly for me
What effects did RU have for you? Much regrowth? I'm about to start and wondering what to expect.
It suits me more. Actually i used to cut grade 0.5 or 1. But since balding its been grade 0. Not had longer than grade 1 hair since I was 16!
Compared to you i wash it out very quickly, though I have the benifit of it all sitting on my scalp and not getting caught in the hair. Once its touch dry, would you say its ok to wash out?
Right now my scalp is completely dry after applying RU. Im about to wash it out. I sometimes wonder if im wasting minox and RU doing this...
Lucky bastard. I've always get a mix of comments that I look like Rivers Cuomo from Weezer, the main guy from Linkin Park and sometimes Moby..... The way I see it, is if I'm already getting comparisons to looking like Moby WITH hair.... I can only imagine what would happen if I shaved it all off.

Do you like the way you look with a completely shaved head? If I looked good, or better than with my messy hair I have, I dont think I'd mind keeping it shaved. Less maintenance and more vagina.... can't complain.
But, I understand your troubles with application. I usually apply Minox in the morning, just a little and apply RU at night. OR, I apply Minox right after work (5pm) and RU at night around midnight, which gives about 7 hours absorption for Minox and all night for RU.

Ive tried a few routines but now I just apply whenever I get the chance.
I refuse to keep minox on my scalp while i sleep (sometimes get a fast heart beat).
Today I applied minox at 6pm, washed off at 8.30pm, and put RU in. Ill wash out the RU in the next hour.
I cut my hair grade 0 short, so every drop is hitting my scalp. Minox is usually touch dry inside 2 hours, RU in KB solution is touch dry in an hour.
Maybe im wasting it all, and should leave it in for longer. But because of my short hair, i cant leave the house with a topical on my skin. It is clearly visible.
So to try and absorb a bit extra, i use a dermaroller. Also, when I do wash it out i use warm to hot water and massage my scalp to aid any last minute absorbtion (probably a waste of time). Anyway, thats how I do it. But its a routine dictated by my short hair.

Thats my wish for real. If you have any idea where I can get something like this then please tell me
I still have no idea how will I use the RU58841 along with Rogaine before bedtime???

There are days when i simply dont have time to use both. In that case, I just use RU.
I give my scalp a 'break' once a week (usually friday night). I do that because again of my short hair. Constant use of these topicals dries my skin a bit and it becomes visible to the whole world. I think thats the vehicles, rather than the actual drug.
If anyone got a suggestion on mixing minox and RU im all ears. Ive yet to read anything about it...
Specifically if RU and minox react to each other in the same solution, and also the proportions by which they can be mixed.
Wouldnt the side effects only occur if finasteride were to enter your bloodstream when taken topically? I dont see how side effects would happen otherwise. I've been taking RU58841 for about a year and have had no known side effects. Last few weeks my sex drive has been quite low though I can only blame that on a lot of stress and pressure from work, so no time to even think or be interested in sex... although at one point my libido did go through the roof. I don't see how topical finasteride would have the same side effects.
I suppose one could buy a large cheap supply of finasteride and mix it with Rogaine (or some other minoxidil formula). Take that once daily along with RU also once day and it could prove to be a pretty awesome trifecta.
Ive yet to read any study that looks at the effect of pgd2 on stem cell differentiation to progenitor cells. If anyone knows of a study, please post it here....
