About to start RU, need directions...

I got the same one that Hellouser has - he posted a picture of it at the beginning of this thread. as for side effects, I guess you could find those anywhere about ANYTHING ... but I think most people use RU because of its effectiveness combined with LACK of side effects. Good luck - everything came through fine with Kane - it shipped quickly via Fedex.

Hellouser - hope all is well, my friend. Just wanted to let you know that I ordered the RU from Kane plus some of his KB solution as well. I'm waiting for my small scale to arrive, which I ordered from Amazon. Anyway, the RU arrived yesterday - it's in a silver pouch. I'm wondering - is it cool to keep it in a sock drawer until my scale arrives in 3-4 days, or should I put it in the freezer? If so, should I put it in a bottle AND a ziplock bag and then in the freezer? Just curious about how to do all this. Thanks in advance.

What digital scale did you purchase from Amazon?

Any links or recommendations for the scales people are using? Just curious.

I also placed my order with Kane. Hopefully it doesn't get hold up in customs. That being said, I have researched RU on the web and haven't seen much positive response from users, but rather side effects depending on dosage. Not sure what to expect if anything at this point, but Hellouser sold me on it.

FREEZER! Keep your RU in the freezer at all times! If its already sealed you should be fine, but I'd use a ziplock bag because im paranoid and have a small case of OCD.

I pray to god I don't have libido, weight gain, and gyno issues like I did with FIN. I just eliminated those sides after a year. If they reappear in the slightest, I'll mail you my remaining KB and RU. Lol.

I'm thinking apply the RU in the morning, wait 5 minutes and apply the foam. Then in the PM stick to my Capillogain. Thoughts??!

No you need to apply minox before RU when using the KB vehicle...because KB forms a seal on the scalp after it's put on so the minox wouldn't penetrate...I'd do minox in the morning and RU at night before you sleep because your hair will look a little dusty from the KB

I'd wait at least a half an hour before applying Minox after RU. I typically wait about 1 hour.

Should I buy 3 months worth to save on shipping costs? Thinking of ordering another 2 bottles.

I'd buy however much would last you with how much RU you'll use plus a little more just in case.

The KB vehicle was designed to eliminate side affects, so most people have none with KB. I've seen people use 20mg of RU in 1ml of KB and maintain, but I would use at least 50mg of RU. Start with that and if you want to go up then go up. Personally I'm using 50mg of RU for 6 months to judge what it's doing and then I'm going to go from there. Always remember the less you use the better, because you can always use more in the future.

Most people on PHG are using 50-100mg with great results. I know el Dut started using RU in 2009 and is using it combined with minox now, 20mg of RU daily and he hasn't lost a hair since...but like I said I'd use 50mg minimum to be safe.

Start with 50mg and work your way up. 100mg should be enough. This is of course your applying 1ml at a time.

You guys are awesome. Appreciate the hand holding as this is new territory for me. As mentioned, I saw BNP on Kane's site..very interesting. Hope to hear more about this moving forward.

Hellouser: Going to buy this and try it. Done watching my hair tank. As far as vehicle goes, I'll just need KB solution from Kane correct? Or will I need both KB & Everclear?

I'll need to order a digital scale as well.

I'd recommend everclear/pg. If you get KB solution, you won't need everclear.

Like feartheloss said, it takes about 5-10 minutes to make 1 weeks worth of RU, its stupid easy;

Weigh 700mg, dump it into a bottle containing 4.55ml of everclear, mix until its completely dissolved and add 2.45ml of propylene glycol.

Done.
