About to start RU, need directions...

It's a pro-drug version of RU. It only converts to RU when it hits the hair follicle. So for those molecules that don't get into a follicle, they are inactive so there is supposed to be no systemic effects.

So theoretically it's supposed to be safer and more effective, but nobody really knows for sure. I think the benefits are outweighed by the fact it's harder to find an effective vehicle. You can't just mix it up like RU, it needs a special cream vehicle.

Buyer beware I don't know of one person that has had the slightest result with RUM. Mostly just a bunch of pissed off people that they waisted their money. Let me know if you find anybody who actually had a result with the stuff.

Oh, Im quite shocked. I thought KB solution has already RU in it. But its seems that its the vehicle only. So I guess I have to order RU separately as well which is sold out. RU 1% + KB solution!!! $68 for one month RU 1% and $43 for KB solution for one month as well. Thats $111 per month which is bloody expensive!!!

MPBtreatments is most expensive RU around at $400/10 grams. Kane was selling at $225/10grams last time I checked. I have used RU in the past without the KB although most people don't recommend it. I just poured my RU into a solution with 2/3's minox solution and 1/3 isopropyl alcohol.

But yes, it is a solution that you just add RU to. It has not just ethanol and PG but a couple if other ingredients as well, the most important of which is a compound to stabilise RU and stop it degrading.

Pate - You don't need this though because you bought the premade stuff right?

Is it the ethanol and PG and whatever altogether? so you just need to mix it with the exact amount of RU and you're ready to go? if so then wow this is too good.

Guys I really need your advice... Is there anyone from you who is using both RU and Rogaine? How can you apply them both? Im planning to order the KB solution 1% RU for a start and planning to use it along with my Rogaine. How can I apply them both, which to apply first and how long I have to wait in between before applying the other???

Yeah I just use an old minox dropper that has a 1mL mark on it. I just apply it exactly like minox, drip it on the scalp and massage in, and then wash my hands super well (in case I touch any pregnant women!)

Yeah I had/have mild sexual sides on fin. I didn't even really notice them until I got a girlfriend... then I realised. It wasn't ED or anything, but it's still noticeable.

It sucks that you can't get mpbtreatments in the US... I guess they are trying to cover themselves from prosecution. Hopefully Kane and the other guys start selling KB soon, because I really think that's the secret for RU.

I think mpbtreatments will ship their KB, just not the premixed solution. I'll double check. Guess I'll be making this stuff on my own.

So I've been on 1mL of 5% RU for four days. No sides at all. No decrease in shedding yet, but I wouldn't expect any obviously.

The really interesting thing is sebum production. I used to wake up each morning with a massively oily scalp in the balding area, it was gross. 4 days on RU and I estimate it's dropped by more than 80%, maybe even 90%.

I thought maybe it was the protective film of the KB solution that was just blocking up ths pores, so the last two nights I've had a shower before bed and washed my scalp to get it off. Same effect - next morning, oil free scalp.

No idea whether I will get regrowth but given the link between androgens and sebaceous glands, I would say this RU is nuking the androgens in my scalp.

So far, so good.

dude this is such good news. did you have sides with fin? i'm really hoping RU will be the treatment that holds me over until Histogen or whatever makes it through. only problem is i can't by the pre-made solution because i'm in the US!

Good job mate! Are you using an eye dropper to apply it and then rubbing it in with your fingers?
