I wonder if that bioreactor presented by Beren Atac in next months hair congress will address the issue.

The way I read in the bioreactor chip work was it is mainly a test bed to trial drugs and not ever intended to be used in hair restoration. The upside is they are extreamly well funded and their technology may transfer to HT's?

You'd basically have to hope that whatever is made known to grow follicles in large quantities would be carried out as a commercial product in India. However, I'd want to see a safety trial first... but realistically, I very much doubt anything negative can happen once a follicle is created and placed under the skin... its a grown organ using your own cells. You wouldn't really need to test it for safety as you can inspect it in vitro.
Is it not possible he has done//doing his trils with what he discovered?

I'm fairly certain that Dr. Roland Lauster's work is focused on the European Union's mission to ban animal testing. But, in order to do that, they would need an alternative test bed for cosmetics and other products. So with that said, you really do need an exact model of human skin and hair to test on in order to see true results of products; if the skin and follicles die, then the product is unsafe. However, I don't see a reason why the bioreactor can't be used for hair restoration if the follicles are an exact match.

That being said, if the follicles created from the bioreactor ARE exact duplicates and all thats needed is implanting via a Hair Transplant doctor, why do we need to do 3 phase tests for clinical trials? HTs are already safe, it'd be essentially the same process.

If Desmond can meet with either Dr. Lauster or Beren Ataç, maybe he can get some answers. Perhaps they'd be able to tell us what the requirements would be before having to use the bioreactor for hair restoration.

Well I saw it here. But that was in 2011. Who knows where they are now. I am waiting to see what it will be presented on this conference.

Ive seen that video before. I just watched it again and there wasnt any mention of the disadvantages of the hair follicle Dr. Lauster created.

Is there any progress with Desmond talking to some of the big names?

How much money are you on now Desmond?

You must be having some very amusing conversations about your trip with very confused friends and family:

FRIEND: "So why are you off to Korea Desmond?"

DESMOND: "Some guys are sending me there"

FRIEND: "Which guys are sending you there?"

                  DESMOND: "Some guys online"

FRIEND: "Some guys online? How do you know them?"

DESMOND: "I don't know them, I just chat to them online"

FRIEND: "Some guys you don't even know are sending you to Korea!!?? Why would they do that? How much is this costing you?"

DESMOND: "It's costing me nothing, about 100 of them have paid for my trip"

FRIEND: "100 men have paid for you to go to Korea. Now I am really confused! Why would 100 men pay for you to go to Korea? What are you meeting 100 men in Korea for Desmond, is there something you want to tell us, are you gay or something?"

DESMOND: "Look, there's nothing odd about this. I am not gay, they are my hairloss friends. I have never met them and I probably never will meet them, but they are sending me to Korea to try and find a cure for hairloss for them. What could be more normal than that!"

FRIEND: "Desmond are you feeling alright? Are you on drugs or something? I am starting to worry about you!"

Hahahaha, you couldn't make this stuff up. have a good trip Desmond!

good shit that desmond is going, but after reading those abstracts that hellouser posted I'm honestly not all that excited. some interesting ideas being looked into, but we are so so far from anything solid happening. most of these people are still talking about the same old stuff, and the new hair multiplication techniques are definitely in their early infancy. I'm hoping for exponential advancement in science, but I'm losing hair fast and I doubt if any of this will have an impact on my life. it really sucks that they cant market something better than propecia for maintaining, in a way it might be the worst thing that has happened for hair loss. does anyone know what the timeline is supposed to be for CB? I'm getting topical fin from hasson and wong in a couple weeks, but honestly im not holding out much hope that it wont give me sides, the pill form ****ed me up royally. i think people underplay the cognitive sides a lot too.

You said Desmond is not paying anything but Desmond is chipping money in. I think he's chipping in the most. I think he said he's chipping in $500.

You guys have set a goal of $2,000 but there could be incidental expenses so I think you guys should consider raising a little more than $2,000.

Sent £20, which is just over $30 I think. Good luck Desmond!!

Do we have any updates of how much we have been able to gather so far?
Desmond, can you please give us an update to determine if we need to push for more?
                            Thanks!

And he's not really a hairloss sufferer, he's a Nigerian scammer from Lagos.

If anyone wants to help him release his dead uncle's 5 billion dollar inheritance then he is willing to give you 10%. Email him with your bank details.

Only kidding, we trust you really Desmond, but can we have an update it's been ages!
