All Hellouser said is that it's socially acceptable to degrade bald MEN. He happens to be right. As I indicated "The American Hair Loss Council" had to create a form letter to send out to companies who are insulting bald men as part of their routine business. Plus I see it in the movies.

Hellouser has a valid point and when he made his point he got attacked from all sides.

When I was a child, I made nothing of baldness. Didn't mock it, didn't notice it, didn't care for it, didn't even picture myself as bald. It wasn't until some people on a Toronto based online forum saw my photos and laughed at my hairline and used it to insult me. This was about 5 years ago.

A couple days ago I got insulted again by being ridiculed of being bald when I defended LeBron James' insecurity of his hairline and the assholes at TNT were humiliating on national TV.

Coworkers have commented on my hairline as well... I'm not even fully bald, so I can't even imagine what higher norwoods must go through. It's an incredibly LOW feeling to be shit on like this by people.

Dude, I totally understand. I've never gotten ridiculed, but I do get comments. When guys ask me if I'm losing my hair, it sucks. When a cute girl asks me if I'm losing my hair, it sucks EVEN MORE. Even today, I got a haircut and the barber made a comment on how I have 'quite a bald spot for such a young guy.'

Like I said, I've only gotten comments; never ridiculed. If the comments hurt this much, I can't even imagine how being ridiculed feels.

Umm .. Never Hit me I had Any Issues .. My Head shape is Okay So I shave it off .. The older I get the more it bothers me .. So In a club in the winter I will just where my Skully cap / Bank robber hat .. LOL and I don't take it off cause it keeps my head warm.. so one night A real smoking hot girl comes up hangs out next to me we start talking hitting it off I buy her a drink , she buys me one and then she goes .. Hey why are you wearing a Hat in here? I shrug and laugh and then she takes it off my head, Sees I'm bald and just Walks away .. So yea we are Judged For how we look 100%.. its not fair but we do it to others in other ways .. Beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder!! So Best thing you can do is Just Love yourself.. cause if you cant love yourself why should anyone else love you?

I'm a NW5 and I made a public presentation today, before an audience composed of 90% of women. No one laughed at me, people showed me respect and treated me like every other guy, despite being a 24 year old NW5.

There is a world beyond your borders, at least you acknowledge the fact that it doesnt happen in Belgium, but in superficial north america, it DOES happen and I HAVE experienced it.
