When men are told to get on fin, they're told to take baseline pics of their hair.

I think from now on they should be instructed to take baseline pics of their penis. I hear reports of "fin shrunk penis", "penis is bending left", "penis is bending right", "penis is retracting", so that way I think if you take baseline, you can compare properly.

Well done KO1 for taking the side of rationality and science against these hysterical anti-science ranters.
Pentarou, Chrisis is suffering from persistent sides as a result of fin, if you can get him back to normal I am sold.

What's Arashi a member of? Are you referring to Fin?

Arashi doesn't seem to have posted for a while actually - just an observation.

It's easy to praise or condemn the drug either way if you have experience of it, it's finding out for yourself that's hard.
Im in the same boat, like you, I want to do something about my hairloss, but I would HATE it if what happened to Chrisis happens to me.

If the sides were not permanent, and not as severe as they currently are, then you know I would be cool with it. But reading about people struggling to get back to normal (if they are unlucky) is ****ing shit.

Depression huh? You don't think hair loss causes depression? 90% of this board is depressed and bipolar.

Also, what is the actual incidence of permanent ED among the total population of fin users? I'm all ears.

The incidence of things like permanent ED is extremely low, it makes for great shock value and hysteria, but it also ignores the fact that most people don't actually experience it.

Don't forget to mention depression and permanent ED. These were side effects of Fin that were not known years ago. They were not acknowleged by the company - yet they ran many clinical trials. How is that so? According to KO's logic, if the studies don't show an incidence rate or the rate is low for a particular side effect, it's a non-issue and anyone complaining of such things should check themselves into a nut house. After many years on the market the company "suddenly" started acknowledging that there are other side effects that they weren't aware of. Depression has been added (after it was already on the market) to propecias list of possible side effects This is due to the fact that their knowledge of the drug is not 100% complete. Even after being studied extensively. What else don't they know about this drug?

Any drug which which interferes with an enzyme that sits at the crossroads of multiple biochemical pathways is going to have unanticipated side effects. Some, which may not show up for years. Some which may not show up until the drug is withdrawn. Others which are difficult for the patient to assess because of gradual onset. It's nearly impossible to find these things out under the constraints of a double blind, placebo controlled study .

DHT is an important hormone. Proceed with caution if you plan to inhibit it in your body.

I took fin for 4 months at a low dose and had sides . I strongly believe fin sides are understated by merck.
