Lets not jump to conclusions just yet..It very well may have been technical. As you members have stated, Desmond have bee a positive spirit here. This will be sorted out, Im sure of it.

I just tried to log in and couldn't, so it probably is technical.
Gare' thats OK. you showed concern for Des' ...we are all just human.
Thanks for adding to the idea that it may be technical after-all.
Hang in there Des'
Unfortunately, as of 11th of May (last day of the hair congress) Baldtruthtalk.com BLOCKED my IP address without any notification to prevent me from posting on this site. This was an absolute shock to me as my posts have been mostly informative in the current field of hair research in the scientific community and I have stated repeatedly my utter respect for Spencer Kobren and his accomplished efforts for the hairloss community.
I personally believe that the forum has EVOLVED over the past year to a much more productive and scientifically oriented discussions to the point where our discussions get relayed on the The Bald Truth show and almost every other hair loss forum out there. I was amazed at times to see our discussions being posted and translated on French, Dutch and German forums
This has been thanks to an influx of members with backgrounds in Biomedical science, Genetics, Pharmacology, Drug Development and Regenrative Medicine….keeping discussions extremely engaging and positive!
I hereby ask Baldtruthtalk to please unblock my IP address or at least provide a reason as to why this has happened. I think what is happening right now on BTT is a great thing and Spencer and BTT team should embrace these exciting times rather than try to suppress it…
Baldtruthtalk is evolving…let’s evolve with it
Also, to all the members who have supported me during the past 8 months I’ve been a member of this great supportive community…please voice your opinions! Without you guys I am powerless…
Let’s hope this is not my final post…(And if it is, thanks to everyone who have been so kind to me! You guys most definitely changed my life around)
Sending all my balding brothers and sister lots of love from an Internet café nearby!

Desmond,
This is absolutely untrue, and given your history, I'm a bit surprised that you would assume that you were blocked in an effort to prevent you from posting on this site.
You have NOT been blocked, and if for some reason you were having technical difficulties, you simply could have contacted us directly, and we would have looked into the situation for you.
You have done nothing but shown this community the utmost respect and have gone beyond the call of duty to provide fellow hair loss sufferers with some hope. This entire community obviously appreciates and respects you for that. I personally, as well as the Admins wish we had more active members like yourself.
It's evident that your account is still active and always has been, so you certainly were NOT singled out for doing anything nefarious. It's possible, I guess, that you post from an area that has been flagged for massive spamming attempts which is usually rectified, to my understanding, by the hosting company by limiting or blocking IP blocks. I personally have no idea if this was the case, but be assured that you were not personally blocked by this forum.
Yeah, I agree that it probably is technical with regards to Desmond's account not working. I don't his account would be blocked here; people have posted plenty of egregious things on here and their accounts have not been blocked. I wouldn't put it past some of the other hair loss forums though, which seem to be only marketing tools for HT surgeons. BTT, let's get Desmond's account back and running ASAP, his posts give me hope that soon we'll have better ways to regrow hair!
"Human dermal papilla cells lose their inductive potential when expanded in culture".
Is this not a huge concern?
Yes, but now I am confused about it. In the cell therapy link posted in this discussion they say (page 2 of the link):
Dermal papilla (DP) cells are associated with the development of hair follicles (HFs) and regulation of the hair cycle. However, primary DP cells prepared from cultured HFs are known to lose their ability to induce HF after culturing in standard media, for example, fibroblast growth conditions. We explored a new culture condition by which DP cells maintained their HF induction ability. The addition of Wnt-10b to the first culture of primary DP cells promoted their proliferation and maintained their Wnt responsiveness and HF induction ability.
It looks like to me that this problem is solved. Hence my confusion.
