by the way Histogen's Dr. Naughton gave two presentations very recently... she obviously focused on the other applications but maybe she gave away some insight over the status of the company and progress with respect to the business roadmap.

If someone could find them that'd be great...

Actually hair loss is a good reason to get out of the bad habits you acquire through college and live better.
This is a very good point, but still not even close to worth it haha

I have a completely different lifestyle than the typical college dude without the problem that will certainly benefit me in the long run, but honestly what's that worth.. where you at histogen??!?!

But, like I said, if at 22, it's looking like I won't be able to hide the fact that I'm balding, I'll shave it and move on.

While I appreciate the advice, "eating healthy" isn't really the issue, you would never tell a sick person to just "eat healthy and hope they get better" especially since I eat fairly healthy anyways.

And, with masturbation, that's just ridiculous to me because it's a way in your mind of 'delaying gratification' in exchange for 'hair'. A sort of bargain, exchange if you will with a higher power even if you don't realize it. More power to you if you think that helps you, it may, who I am to say, but it wouldn't help me.

Also, a lot of people would argue, but my PERSONAL theory is to limit masterbation to an extremely moderate amount, like once a week or every two weeks.. That's just my personal theory

If you don't mind me asking, what was your regimen in those 4 years between 19-23? Do you shave your head now? If you could go back, what would you do differently (if there was anything to be done that was under your control even?)

These answers would probably help that guy and myself far more than more simple negativity.
    Hey buddy,

I am 22, I live in CA too... I started balding when I was 18 and I sense some anxiety in your post, understandably so. Here is what I have learned:
You can't defeat the genetics of balding but you can bald gracefully WITHOUT propecia or rogaine if you do the following: limit stress and anxiety as much as possible... Use T-Gel shampoo theree times a week... And eat extremely healthy... Look into the PALEO diet, you want to limit your blood sugar from spiking so that means eating no grains and a lot of meat and vegetables and nuts instead... You follow this regimen and I believe you will slow down your loss

If they can further improve the product to yield better results then this is not so much a dream anymore, but a matter of time. Even with current results, we are pretty much sure we have an additional weapon that will do some significant good to our hair.

Our problem is that we may be too bald/thin at the time the product comes out to have a cosmetically relevant imrpovement.

So the event is more about sharing research findings than publicising possible future products?

perhaps if they put together a scientific research paper they might get some air time, but as far as I know one has not been published. I could be wrong.

That is concerning, I mean that could be our safer replacement for finasteride.
