"Dr. Kurt Stenn of the Aderans Research Institute, will be presenting Ji Gami's Phase 2 trials at the International Investigative Dermatology Conference on May 9th in Edinburgh."

I'm not expecting every person who's a responder to the treatment to get that high of an increase in density, I have never made that claim, I'm only ever maintained Aderans best result vs. Finasterides best result... and Finasteride in this case is clearly the much less effective.

How the hell did you have less and less hope in Aderans when theyve BARELY made any public announcements or official statements since 2012? Barely as in, almost none? Did the naysayers rub off on you? Did Washenik's one single radio interview throw you off? Did you possibly take his words out of context? Did he? Did he think through that single statement that made you throw Aderans under the bus? Do you even know for sure what Aderans will provide once made available as a treatment?

Again, take everything with a grain of salt and at face value. This speculation talk is insane.
I agree. A few guys on here are always dissecting every little thing that comes off from these companies, and I have to say sometimes the anxiety to talk about something plays games on them.

Washenik has not said and/or done anything bad in that interview. You guys must be really paranoid to take that interview as a sign that Aderans isn't going anywhere.

Just calm down and let's see what happens

Someone did mention this concept to you before) they sounded great back in 2010 but they didn't mention anything like that at the MESA presentation in 2012. As I said in my post I did have a lot of hope in Aderans but since the MESA presentation it's got less and less. All the info that's made me less and less positive hasn't been from negative forum users, it's come from Dr. Washenik.

Because we know that at least one individual case got the 80% improvement. Whats the best single case scenario Finasteride has ever accomplished? I doubt it could even reach that number even if including Minox in the regiment.

Doesnt matter how proven finasteride is, the stuff still gives modest improvements and yet dangerous for a functioning dick. Though who cares about that, right? And who cares about the proven and potential higher successes than finasteride from Aderans in their trials? Its amazing how you guys just completely WRITE OFF ADERANS from one effing radio merely because the guy isnt transparent..... THATS HIS JOB, to NOT be transparent. Whatever he says will always be scrutinized..... which is EXACTLY what you guys are doing. Why can't you just take their results at face value?

Relax folks, going at ARI on this forum won't do us any help. If anything, you guys are spreading bad publicity against this company and their efforts, which is the opposite of what we need.

Relax, get a hobby, do something to impress your boss - I strongly advice waking up 1 hour earlier in the morning and going for a swim and sauna/cold shour before work.

If any of these companies will move forward, we will know relatively soon. If it doesn't life goes on. I also strongly advice to try cutting the hair to a 1 or close shave.

Its almost as if Washenik is holding his hands up and saying "dont rely on us to help you, take finasteride, minox and whatever you can to treat hair loss".

Well that sucks if you're NW2.5+ or have suffered sides with fin doesnt it?

And finasteride is not a permanent solution by any shot, if your hair loss becomes aggressive, you can take finasteride until you go blue in the face, you'll still progress.

Even Replicel are moving at snails pace, but on their Facebook page they commented that they only chose men for the next upcoming trial because it speeds recruitment up - so at least they're conscious of time, Aderans seem to be kicking back saying: "meh, f*** it".

Thanks for stepping in Alchemist. Hellouser - you're shouting at me and saying I'm making unconfirmed claims, I'm sorry but did you not read my post fully!? My 'claims' come from Dr. Washenik's mouth! He said it in the radio interview! How is it speculation or unconfirmed when it comes from the chief medical director of the company!?

I really hate seeing the things you've said about me in your post cos I don't wannna be one of those negative posters who brings people down. At the same time it's not like I'm looking for reasons to be negative like Ironman went and counted all the hairs in the Histogen photos so he could argue with their haircounts and call them frauds - I'm just going by what I feel are undeniable facts, why would Dr. Washenik say negative things about his own product!?

I think despite everything. Something is better than nothing. Even if its marginal.
The radio interview is shit and not worth listening to. You're better off watching this:

Seriously, he has led us up the garden path numerous times before - this next update will be no different.

Aderans are ALWAYS evasive about the hard questions, they never give any accurate information and everything they promise/say gets broken & changed - how on earth can we even rely on this company to provide a decent hair loss solution EVEN IF they brought a "product" to the market?

Anyone fancy a Bosley hair transplant?

    ...Didnt think so.

    I've said it countless times and yet you've never responded to it a single time, but I'll say it again;

Finasteride on average gives an increase of density of about 10-20%. One of the Aderans clinical trials test patients recorded 80% increase in terminal hair count. When has finasteride EVER reached that kind of efficacy?

Agreed. It doesn't seem to be the whole multiplication of dht resistant cells we were hoping for, but we don't have any official update yet. If its better than propecia and minox at least that's an improvement!

    I will email them though

I was completely with you Desmond, I've always hoped Aderans would bring something with some potential out. They were never really my favourite because of the lack of updated info they provided, the amount of time they spent on phase II and the whole 'strip of scalp' element but I still always considered them an option. At the end of last year when talk of phase III started I got really excited about them, then saw results presented at MESA and was disappointed but then the talk about making the follicles DHT resistant started up an I had hope again but that radio interview just took it all away. The biggest thing I can't understand is how they think they're gonna sell this though. People were saying if it was like Fin without sides they'd jump on it but it's not like Fin - not even as good, you gotta use Fin with it so makes it pointless for all those guys.
