If the treatments were available, id be doing everything in my power to take advantage of the industry and make money off of it.

It's all relative though, not everyone is willing to spend 5-10K to save their hair, especially if you're a guy in your early 20's.

We need a solution that's relatively affordable, that's when the market will explode. Right now all we have are premium solutions like FUT and FUE that cost 10K+ which a very small % of the balding population will use.

How many million people are balding? put out a product like Histogen at 1000 bucks and I think almost all of them would do it if it guarenteed at least some growth.

But that's another problem too, if it only works for some people, how can people justify the high cost.

I think most people in the industry are f*cking idiots, they don't realize how much potential cash there is for them to bank from a legitimate treatment or even full out cure.

The market is sitting at 1.5 billion dollars a year in USA alone and thats with SHIT treatment, stuff that doesnt come close to what a 5-10k HT costs (effectively what Aderans and Histogen could charge) and even then HTs are only a fraction of the entire market, so that 1.5 billion is mostly on garbage like shampoos, rogaine and propecia. You give men a real solution and that 1.5 billion dollar mark will explode overnight, guaranteed. And thats USA ALONE.

Yeah that's true..but if we figure out the vehicle that was used to test CB then you would only need CB topically once a week. How amazing would that be? CB once a week for 40% increase in density and maintenance and then histogen to grow like a mother****** and aderans for whatever it will do and you have more hair than a young brad pitt

We are definitely making strides science wise it's just a very slow process(I mean think about it, you need to give a solution a few months to test out at least, so if that doesn't work, you gotta start over again, it's time consuming).

I think we've pin pointed the problem and we're coming up with decent solutions right now, nothing perfect, but we're slowly getting closer.

As rdawg pointed out, HSC's growth stimulant would have to be more powerful and permanent enough for DHT to render its effects on the follicle useless.

But we don't have a guarantee of that. Thus, I'd be fighting DHT in the meantime anyway. I'd probably cut it down to just RU or CB once daily at night right before I go to bed (but apply enough to cover the entire scalp, so probably 2-3ml)

There are many factors that contribute to hair loss and from HSC phase I/II trails we are learning that dht's effect on hair loss can be overcome without dht being suppressed.

honestly all this innovation is making me soo freeakin excited... we are on the cusp, we just need a little more evidence suggestive of efficacy and a near-term release and our lives are changed foreverr...

Scarless FUE + Aderans + Histogen = maybe not NW1 for everybody, but enough to produce strong results such that to avoid the necessity of ingesting poison, while producing results that equate to elimination of the stigma of balding--that is, enough to blend in with any regular non-balding joe, and enough to carry on with life on an equal playing field... that's all we are asking for...

It could matter how aggressive your hairloss is though.

if it's a slow loss that happened in your mid-20's-30's maybe, but for some that start losing fast around 20 and it's really agressive, they really might need the two pronged approach.

Fin(DHT inhibitor) has maintained my hair, but I still have alot of vellus hairs, which histogen could very well reverse. I would bump up to a NW1.5-2 if these filled in.

That is a very good question. I'm kind of afraid that even when they all come out, most surgeons/dermatologists won't be very familiar with the products and won't know how to combine them well if needed. Let's hope whoever will get the license from Histogen to market HSC will do a good job in terms of marketing and organizing sales because this is huge...
