    What I think?

"There are major new advancements in the fields of stem cell biology, developmental biology, regenerative hair cycling, and tissue engineering. The time is ripe to integrate, translate, and apply these findings to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine."
    Source: http://www-hsc.usc.edu/~cmchuong/2013Ther.pdf

So basically, I think the same - the time is indeed ripe.

But I also think, that even scientists know A LOT MORE now than decades ago - most of them still fail to translate all the knowledge and findings out there for the proper enforcement and practical application. And many of them, even the "hair gods" out there, are not even aware about ALL findings out there by other research groups. For example - those researchers who published the paper (link above), I know that they know a lot - but I also know that they actually know shit.

God damn it lol, the last thing we need is ANOTHER Washenik update:

@"should be available in 2009" (*looks at watch*).

Hmm... right now it seems like Ronald McDonald has more hopes of curing hair loss than Histogen Aderans &.. that other one.

If Histogens goal is to sell to aderans that's great news!

Forum users said the same in the past after Washenik's predictions - many years ago, and now we have lots of updates...

Haha! the host looks like he's wearing a piece. He's probably pissed about these predictions too!

Washenik better beef up the ole resume - Aderan's has got to hold someone accountable for their investment.

Theres no way they will be bringing this out by next year - no chance in hell.

Also - why isnt he stating 2014 as a release date anymore? I thought that was what he said at Tokyo presentation? When someone asks about release date he should tell them not to watch Tokyo presentation and just take propecia (because thats basically the answer he gave in the above interview).

....Now you all know why they removed the Tokyo presentation off their front page and replaced it with a video from 2005.
The real killer in all of this is that they've been working on this since around 2001. At least 12 years of research have been conducted with one goal - grow more hair. All the time Washenik's been promoting it and saying they're making good progress. Dangling this carrot in front of our faces. and every time his deadline comes and goes with nothing to show for their efforts. And once again, we have 2014 coming up, and he's doing the same old song and dance again. They're back tracking on everything - first they said de novo growth and now it's only regeneration (the complete opposite of their initial position). And now it's modest results that still need minox and propecia. And now the release date is no longer 2014 but, somewhere in the future. etc.. etc.. Whatever they have, it certainly is not working too well.

Honestly, from what we've seen with Aderans' and Replicel, i'm starting to think the cell based approach is just not feasible.

Team Tokyo and Lauster have the answer, but their work is in it's infancy. it'll be 15-20 years for that research to mature and commercialize.

I had high hopes for Follica, but, by all appearances, they're a corpse. The heads of Research and pharmaceutical development have left the company and no new people announced to replace them. No news, funding or new trials in years. IMO they're dead.

Which leaves Histogen... one horse left in the race.

    WTF?
