Fred , did you get your estradiol checked when you were on fin? It seems in guys who are sensitive and tend to easily aromatize testosterone to estrogen easy the gyno will be easier to get. Also some guys glands are bigger than others. I hope your surgeon took your glands out.

    Fred,

Was finasteride the cause of your gyno? If it was the cause, I totally understand you not wanting to take fin. Not trying to offend you, but I expected the pics to be much worse. With that being said I totally get why you would get them removed. I would do the same.

You realise downplaying my obvious gyno that was removed through painful gland excision and liposuction makes you a total hypocrite.

It seems suffering from hair loss (if we can call that hair loss, you're barely a NW2,5) hasn't taught you anything. But don't worry, your growing forehead will humble you.

This is me, I had to walk around with those bitch tits for only 6 months (Yes, I like to solve my problems fast), and there were the darkest months of my life, you can't imagine the psychological trauma it caused me. And I was already a NW5 at the time.

As a person who has experienced both, I can safely say that hair loss is nothing compared to having man boobs.
LMAO, my manboobs are bigger than what your pictures show... what you had was barely noticeable. I dont care about the gyno, pretty much every guy has a bit of flab there, its fine.

Nobody wants that but you have to take risks & be willing to make trades. Unless your brain fog stops you from functioning enough to make money or have sex then it is worth the extra hair

Surgery is also much more effective for treating gyno than hair loss. Cheaper too

Id rather shave my head & be fully functioning sexually/mentally physically - but I couldnt care less, you can chomp those pills until you go blue in the face for all I care.
Thank-you. September will be 4 years on fin, over 1.5 on dut. Hopefully will be on RU or spiro by then too. I will let everyone know how it goes.

Approved treatment options definitely need to get better. When I defend the use of fin, I am not saying it is a flawless treatment because it is not. If there was another option available that was considered safe, I would take it in a heart beat, but there is no such treatment. I would rather not take any prescription drug. I take fin because I am at the point where if I don't then I need to accept going bald which I do not want to do. Credit to the guys that will shave before taking fin, but for me I will use it until something better comes along.

There are no 2nd chances in this biz once your loss hits a certain point. You can spend a lifetime waiting for a new cure or you can make the most of today. That is the lesson to take from the OP

I do need to take a breather. Hair loss is a stressful business though. Much of that stress can be avoided with accurate information. I speak from experience. I was that young guy losing his hair. Accurate information could have made a big difference in the condition of my hair. The new guys need the correct information, to make the right choices.

I take this fin battle with you guys too personally. I am going to stop, at least for now. It all comes down to personal choice. I choose to take it and shouldn't have to hear that my dick is going to fall off. The people who choose not to take it shouldn't have to hear that they need to enjoy going bald.

Too many people come here and lose sight of what this forum is for. It should be for support and sharing of information. Too many people come here just for the sake of arguing and making people feel worse than they already do. If someone chooses to take fin, someone has to mention that it is only a matter of time before they get ED. If someone wants to get a hair piece, someone has to throw the jab that they wouldn't want to be "that guy that wears a rug". If someone NW4+ gets a hair transplant, there has to be that guy that says it worthless because "you cant style your hair a certain way".

I think the best way to deal with these types is to simply give them the attention that they deserve, which for the most part means to ignore them.

This is very true. Unfortunately for me, there is hair that I will never get back because I waited too long to pull the trigger to start treating. I hate that I made this mistake and don't want guys to make the same one.
