    YES

Not the guys who tried to take fin or dut but could not tolerate the sides. To them I give my deepest respect and condolences. I mean guys who are NW1.5-3 who easily have enough hair worth saving, but refuse to take fin or dut (usually fear of sides). Do you not realize you are worried enough to be on a hair loss forum, yet

He's implying that out of 100+ posts, your contribution is nothing more than crapping all over guys that choose to do something about hair loss.

Exactly! Everybody here cares about their hair loss, and is somewhat insecure about it. Yeah even you. If you weren't you wouldn't be wasting your time here. People have their opinions on the treatments available, I understand and accept that, but when your only contribution here is shitting on treatments, trying to make people second guess their treatment choices, and calling the members of this forum "desperate and insecure", then you are nothing more than a troll.

The way you constantly have to tell people how confident you are makes me believe the exact opposite. Trying to act like a big shot here when in reality you are probably one of those guys rubbing all sorts of crap on your head: piss, jizz, crushed up birth control pills, etc.

Notcool, thanks for the honest and comprehensive reply about the shedding, much appreciated.

That is and always has been my main issue with potentially using it. That downside seems fairly likely and the upsides seem much less certain.

I'm all for all those who have taken the plunge and feel that it's working for them. But at the same time, I don't think the people who have analyzed the situation and decided it's too risky for them personally should be made to feel that they're doing something wrong either. The post that started this thread seemed to be stating that those who don't take finasteride are deluding themselves by waiting for a future treatment. I don't think that's what's happening. I think most of us are fairly-to-very uncertain that any effective future treatment will come along, but that doesn't mean that every person should sign up for every treatment that's available today, no matter the consequences.

Each person has to decide for themselves and has to live with the consequences of their decision, and there's no reason to look down on someone that's made a different decision than you.

Lol it's a "mans game" that'll turn you into a woman if you lose. Yeah, have fun playing that and just know at the end of the day, there are absolutely no winners here until a cure is released. To quote a recent movie, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Lol stfu dude. You don't know me whatsoever. Stop being presumptuous. I'm not insecure about myself. Deal with that. Like I said, go ahead and SCREW with your hormones. In fact, I encourage it.

I'll just chime in here with my experiences. I just finished my sixth month on fin. No sides except for slightly increased libido the first couple days on it. So far I think I have lost some ground on my temple points and hairline since being on fin. However, I had not experienced any significant shedding. I also think there is a chance that my crown has actually gotten a little thicker as well and my scalp just "feels better" than it did prior to being on fin. I would advise most everyone to try it. Most people have successful experiences with fin.

However, I will say, that there is the chance that in the next six months this could all change and my dick stops working and my hair sheds like crazy. I think that is more unlikely than it is likely though at this point.

BTW I'm 22 and NW2 with a history of aggressive hairloss in my family (Dad was ass bald by 26 or so).

I agree with your entire post, especially the portion I highlighted. I just have to remember that every person that that refuses to take fin isn't in the "fin is poison" crowd. Those are the guys I take issue with. Respect needs to go both ways. It should be given to those that choose to take the risk and treat their hair loss and vice versa.

Same kind of situatio nwith me.

Interestingly enough I find those who have side effects also get much better results with fin, I didnt have any side effects but i've essentially slowed my hairloss(my hair is roughly the same as two years ago when i started, but a bit thinner)

I too have aggressive hairloss and im 22(NW3), and I believe I need to add either RU or CB to my routine

                              <NW2 = winning

Also turning into a woman is not worse than turning into a bald guy. So your point seems moot there

5% chance of sides vs. a 100% chance of baldness. Choose wisely.
