Correct, I'm not expecting him to get 15k grafts in just one session, that's impossible. But it should be doable in two or three sessions. At least, if everything that Nigams has promised us would be true.

I dont get why you're making all these crazy demands. I know that, in the way you're asking, we would know for sure-- but just because nigam can't operate to those standards (taking all the grafts from one small area and giving 15k grafts in 3 sessions), doesn't mean he can't do it.


I personally can't believe it.... I'm just saying that if he can, there is no way he can take all the grafts from one area (too traumatic on regrowth rates and scarring) and he doesn't have to do 15k grafts in 2-3 sessions... thats also really traumatic for regrowth in both donor and recipient.

It would be nice to get 15k grafts in 1 or 2 runs.... but if he can do this PERIOD, then who cares if it takes 10 visits... ITS A CURE for all intents and purposes.

You claim to double hair with 100% regrowth in donor area. We dare you to prove it on this case.

25 000 grafts is reasonable and certainly possible with your technique.


I know some will say 20-25k is unrealistic but for someone who claims to be able to double/multiply hair the bar can never be too high.


4 x 6 000 grafts or 3 x 8 000 grafts. Its not like he'll run out of donor, it will grow back within 3-6 months.

Somebody said 'definition of NW2 is a person with roughly 75k hairs on his head'.

I am at Delhi for next two days,will revert back on ,monday.

The patient will have ..approx 50 grafts extracted from the donor,to prepare multiplied stemcells,cultured dp ells..in next 20/25 days...
after that we will start his doubling procedure.

If we have support of cultured stem and dp cells..repair of the bisected follicles is better.

Will contact the patient tmr..for dates ,consent etc.

The first step would be to extract 50 grafts for the stemcells isolation ,multiplication,isolation of dp cells and its culture....
after we get good number of these cells(in 20/25 days)..we will subsequently, start the doubling procedure.

I read recently that Dr. Nigam was going to documented the procedure on several advanced patients and turn them to NW1 or 2, photos etc every step of the way. Is this still going ahead.

Is it possible that Thane could end up with a horseshow bald spot at his donor and lots of hair everywhere else on his head?

Stem cell cloning and growth factors should help his donor right?
