Is the techniques discussed dependent on Dr Nigams ever changing recipe? if yes how is Dr. Mwamba planning to experiment and assess the techniques. We have been led to believe that the technique could only exist in India because of the laws in India, Mwamba will have to return to India to experiment. I find it hard to believe that the technique uses methods that are legal in the west and no other doctors has discovered the technique yet.

It is not over and Dr. Mwamba has not confirmed shit. He was simply pleased with what he saw and plans to investigate it further. This forum is like a run away speculation train.

On the show last night Spencer said that Dr. Mwamba clearly stated to him that he can NOT confirm the success of hair doubling but is willing to experiment with it based on that he believes it might have some theoretical merit. Spencer also said that there will be an interview with Dr. Mwamba up soon.

It does not sound like it's "over" by any means, but it is good that Dr. Mwamba is willing to give it a closer look.

I guess, knowing what Gho had to face, Mwamba will be very careful and patient before claiming anything...
So, maybe he is super confident and sure his business will run gold soon... but of course, he needs to play it safe, history proves it!

Thank you for your reply Tom...lets hope Drs Nigam and Mwamba really have something here. It would be so much less depressing to know that you could get a procedure that could restore your hair to a really decent level after a few trips. I would certainly feel less doomed haha. Here's hoping for something near 100%

Cotto, you've gone the same way as me: FUE to help in the short term with the hope that something better would be available in the future. Hopefully it will work out, it would be awful if people who had a sizeable FUE in the past couldn't benefit from what could be a great procedure before true HM arrives within the next couple of decades. All speculation of course, I was just concerned because HASCI had told me that my FUE would limit the amount of HST I could achieve with them.

Will be possible to get a normal fue and later take the advantage of this technique or the yield will be lower

Tom, it's great if results are already starting to be seen. Are you confident in the earlier claims from Dr. Nigam that he could achieve donor regeneration of 100% or are we all now lowering our expectations to somewhere closer 60%?
100% would be a life changer, especially for those destined for NW7.

actually the "at least 60% donor regen" is for the last technique tested at 100% on me. This technique could even bring us to even more than 100% result (if graft recover even more hair than original (possible)) but lets see in a few week. Dr Mwamba was specially really good to perform such a technique, so I expect this 60% to be really be the minimum. Others doubling technique from nigam can expect a 100% indeed if made properly by a good Professional Hair surgeon.

Even a true 80% is enough for a NW7.. if the 80% recover same quality and count of hair per graft. We are all pretty excited by this, but we need to still waiting a little bit.

here we are ! Dr Mwamba is very pragmatic, he is confident, but i will visit him in a few times to make him control the donor especially around the scar area. We have enough picture that now to know not only the % of result, but also the % of hair per regrowth. The beauty of this technique is... It will give twice better result than can achieve HASCI.. in terms of design, and regrowth at recipient...
