I agree. Got to give Dr. Nigam credit. The guy is extremely open about his techniques. For that reason, I don't think we'll have another Gho scenario, where we continue to debate the technique for years.

I know we're all inpatient, myself included, and we want to accelerate this whole process as much as possible, but I really think we should sit back until January. Let's see what Nigam/Mwamba, have to show us, and proceed from there. In the meantime, Nigam can start his NW6->NW2 transformation test.

I'm glad that Dr. Mwamba is getting involved but that's because of his skill and reputation as a HT surgeon, not because he's a member of the IAHRS or some other ABZ organization. As I said before, there's plenty of recommended doctors on these organizations that I wouldn't let near my scalp.

If the doubling procedures work as well as we all hope, then of course I want it to become mainstream. But again, I'm not blindly going to trust any surgeon or organization until conclusive proof is shown.

His skill and reputation would not even be known if it were not for his IAHRS status. If he wasn't in the IAHRS no one would even know who he was and certainly would not hold him in such high regard. That is just the way this industry works. If you're not in the IAHRS your considered second rate. I am not saying this is true, but it's the way it is in this industry and it is common knowledge.

Don't be naive, membership counts and if a procedure is being performed by an IAHRS surgeon the rest of the field follows. It's a good thing for us that Mwamba is working with Nigam specifically because he is in the IAHRS.

There are a lot of talented surgeons in the IAHRS, no doubt. There are also a lot of resources online for hair loss, some obviously better than others. My whole point is that every individual has do their own research and come to their own conclusions. No organization's or person's views should be considered as gospel, especially in the hair loss industry. Anyway, that's my final post on this topic.

Yeah Joshi's case will be extremely interesting to follow, that's for sure. I haven't heard anything myself, not sure if he started with Joshi this weekend like he planned to or that something came between. I do have a feeling that Dr Nigam is serious about this though. So let's hope we'll see something soon WITH good photo's, cause without good pre-op photo's the value of any demonstration case greatly diminishes.

Just to remind you,i had taken 75 grafts from mr joshi's beard in the first week of october, and had sent the same to the lab....for isolation and multiplication of hair stemcells and for 3d culture of dp cells,which will be used to support the bisected grafts with the denovo technique.

It takes minimum one month,to get good number of such cells.

As i am leaving to san fransisco for the ishrs meet..the day after...
when i return back,i will start his first session.
Will try to extract the max possible donor grafts in the first session.
