For sure mate. They have microscopic photo's, their own photo's, the photo's shot by the professional photographer and they had a video crew recording it. So tons of material this time and most of it shot by professionals with pro equipment
Great news! I think this time, we won't have much to worry about. HASCI took the test very seriously and even the 3 photos you've posted in this thread are a huge improvement and more than suitable for an analysis. I'm excited to see the other photos now too.
If they extracted 12 triples instead of 2 and took a picture of the petri dish, than things would be perfect. Hopefully the photographers aren't away for too long on vacation . In 2 weeks, we can already start analyzing the donor and just that alone should tell us a lot.
Maybe I'm missing something but is that important ? It's just about how many hairs were sacrificed in donor in order to get how many hairs in recipient, isn't it ? Maybe it's interesting to better understand the process but from a resource point of view (or regular client point of view), it doesn't matter. Most clients, including me, just want to know how many hairs will be lost in donor to get how many hairs in recipient.
Just a small update here. Today HASCI received the photo's from their photographer, so we should get them soon. Of course it's going to take months before we can throw in a final verdict, because as everybody knows, it takes almost a year before all hairs in recipient have regrown. And since the grafts were placed in scar tissue, most of the hairs shedded. Still, exciting to at least see how donor has developed !

Yup. One half of the proof is the donor and fortunately for us, the vast majority of regeneration happens within the first month. Hopefully they've taken photos of the donor, 2-4 weeks after the procedure. If they have, and if they included a before picture as well, we'll have one half of the analysis done soon.
The donor regeneration will be very interesting to follow. I'm most interested to see what the "true regeneration rate" (i.e., hairs not follicular units) will be.
I've got them. Post-op picture is of great quality, pre-op could be better unfortunately, I'll ask them if they have more, however it's do-able in my opinion. Here they are
Also just asked Kristel why there are only 3 grafts in the 3 hair sections. Like Ironman noted, his donor seems to contain enough 3 hair grafts and his hairs are a lot thinner than the ones from JamesBald.

It's been a few weeks already so I'm hoping we're getting to see the first regeneration photo's as well soon.
An analysis is definitely possible with the pictures they've provided. Just a little annoying that they can take a great photo after extractions but couldn't do the same a couple of hours earlier for the pre-op picture.

Yup totally agree JJJJrS. The pre-op photo is good enough to do an analysis but hopefully they have some better pictures and/or microscopic pictures, so that the analysis will be even more accurate.

I don't mean to sound like I'm pissing on your parade, but the pictures are a joke. You've put loads of effort into this too which I we're all grateful of, so it's a let down if these are the only pictures.
Was he supposed to be a professional photographer?

Yep I'm disappointed too. He was a pro photographer and the picture was crystal clear BUT he just took it from too far away (he shot the post-op picture much closer to the scalp, hence it's better). The pre-op picture I've shared I've just zoomed in (I couldn't upload the whole TIF, it's 30MB and the photoshare sites wont accept it but it doesnt matter, it's all about this area anyway).
They said they also shot microscopic pictures, together with the tattoo's these would be great but I haven't gotten anything yet. Kristel isn't really responsive anymore, not sure what's going on ...
I think it's still good enough to do an analysis, but it won't be 100% accurate if this is all the pre-op material we'll get.
It's unfortunate for us that the company that appears to have the best HT protocol also seems to have a complete inability to present their work/results in a way that the public can understand and appreciate :-(
