The test did not fail because of your magic 17/17/17 rule. If you had paid ANY attention at all, the problem is that the quality of the photo's is too low, THAT is what needs to be different next time, not the 17/17/17 thing, I don't care about that at all.

I've decided not to participate in Dr Nigams threads anymore. There's no doubt at ALL anymore in my mind that he's a fraud after everything that's happened so far, so I don't see any use anymore to look into him. If people decide to go to India without having done their due diligence, then that's THEIR problem, not mine, so what's the use in even participating in his threads, I ask myself. None.

They felt sorry for james, lame excuse if you ask me.

They examined his scalp a few weeks before procedure(they didnt feel sorry back then) and deal was 50 graft test for forum members to finally prove whether or not hst works as claimed, stakes were high, it was crucial to stick to the rules or else it wont work..they agreed but then changed their mind on the day of procedure. How cool.

It seemed impossible something could go wrong but somehow hasci managed to fk it up.

You'd think its in their best interest to get this done properly and prove it to everyone after so many years of mystery but it looks like they are quite happy for this mystery to continue

Lets hope they realize their mistake and do another test and in meantime lets focus on this 200 test unless it total failure

Do you know anyone that has a digital SLR camera that understands the technical aspects of photography? We're not looking for glamour shots, just technically proper photos of objects close up.

Would be a HUGE help. Lets get THAT straightened out before we jump into another test.

Sure. Recap: HASCI decided to go for 200 grafts instead of 50 grafts. Kristel said they felt really sorry for James when they saw how badly that other FUE clinic had butchered him up and damaged his donor, that they wanted to do something for him. However by doing so the test got a LOT more complex. This necessarily in itself isn't a problem, however one would need VERY good pre-op photo's of VERY high quality, to track the 200 grafts and find out how many hairs were extracted.

The photo's that were made were just not of such high enough quality. They've made some more and they're going to send them to me, but I'm afraid they just won't be good enough.

I've suggested that a new test would be a wise thing to consider, since there's so much discussion on these forums. Kristel was not negative about this and today I've just heard that they're going to think about that. Let's hope they will set it up !!

All in all, man, let's just hope HASCI is willing to do a new 50 graft test Even if it's going to be possible to do what I suggested on your pictures, it's going to be a hell of a job ...

Another test?

I think they're going to be either annoyed or at least raise a brow. This should have been planned out better from the start.

And since everyone is demanding proper photography, I think the next person, if there will even be one, should be a COMPETENT photographer, no offense to james bald though, i dont expect everyone to know the ins-and-outs of a camera and how to work it for cases like documentation, but for a situation like this, its vital.

If I were closer to the HASCI locations, I'd easily dedicate my spare time for this and make sure ALL photographs come out properly. Its especially easier if your taking the pictures for someone else rather than being the one with the procedure and angling around trying to take pictures of the back of your own head.
