Making it difficult for their small extraction tool to extract 3 hair grafts and some 2 hair grafts. Thats my assumption at this point.

I think they also struggled with the angles of my follicles. I believe its quite erratic back there, not very uniform. At one point the technician asked if i have curly hair (which I dont). I believe she asked this because they were struggling with the odd angles of my follicles. Anyone else got any opinions on this? alot of it are my own conclusions....

The thickeness of my hair might have contributed to the problem too. I dont know. Thats what i mean about the lack of service from them. They obviously had difficulty, but even after asking what the problem is...i have no idea.
So we still don't have 1 single member on this site that has said "yes my donor is regrown".... this anticipation is more intense then Histogen :P

I think at this stage all we can say is that Gho is probably one of the best FUE docs in the world.

How is your recipient area going mate?

it's like your pissed off when you hear that there have been several studies by OTHER doctors that confirm the science behind Gho's HST, then you get pissed when forum members say they had a good procedure...

but I'm sure you're all over replicel and histogen threads... just a few more years right!!??? loser...

Also, after how long from your HT nobody could tell you had work done.. i migh go for HST soon and i don't want anybody at work noticing i had a hair transplant so how long should i took off work before i look completly normal.

    Thanks,
Ive asked some people to check the back of my head, they didnt find much. In the mirror I cant see anything. Im pretty sure ill more using a usb microscope and with hi-def photos. I cut my hair grade 0.

There was no sign of a transplant after 9 days. Unless you have very fair skin, in which case im not sure.

By very little scarring I mean scars that are visible by the naked eye.

I have a USB microscope now, ill be using that to check things soon.

neversay, your gho operation sounds exactly the same as my turkish one I had last year.

I don't know if I have any scars really (hope not), but one thing I know - I'm gonna be nw5 in 5-7 years if I don't do anything. Which means I need at least 3 more ops, I was thinking going to gho, but I'm hoping histogen would come out in 2-3 years, that would save me.

Anyways, I'm thinking those "micro" sessions are a bit pointless for someone needing at least 4000 grafts. In this situation, it would take at least 3 years, 3 visits and 30 000 euro.

Overall, I think HST is in the wrong hands. He is no HT artist, and in general I didnt really like the service. I remember one tech having trouble extracting grafts, and another came to take over. The technician said "thank god!!!!" and said some stuff in dutch. Is that really the attitude we need in the HT chair? They spoke in dutch 90% of the time between themselves.

I then asked "whats the problem excatly?". The reply was "theres no problem. Just hard to extract the grafts". I get the feeling there was more to it than that.

But i have very little scarring, receipient is doing well. Overall, no complaints so far with the outcome.

I just think in better hands, HST would become a gold standard (for those who need less than 1600 grafts).

Maybe it was just with me. I dont know.

They seem VERY confident of HST. But in my mind, theres no doubt that other doctors need to look into it. Not even just HST, just this vertical transection of follicles.

The idea is simple. From what i understand, they transect the upper two thirds of a follicle, and it regenerates. There was another study backing this up. And jahoda also said that those cells on the side of the follicle have the ability to rengenerate a complete follicle. How hard can it be to look into that?

The other issue is getting that partial fragment to grow a new DP and grow hairs in the receipient area. That is where his 'storage medium' comes into play.

Dr Cole is the only doctor on the planet looking into this (as far as we know). Its crazy. These guys could prove or disprove HST so easily.

**** man they sound like a bunch of jokers

Thing is the more people who 'go to gho' - the more attractive a venture it will be to other HT surgeons.

there is some regrowth for sure. Its really hard to give any details, sorry.

Later this week ill take pictures and compare to the early pictures, of a region where grafts were extracted in very tight groupings.
