Does anyone else think that Gho might just be splitting follicular units?

How do we know for sure? He could be just removing 2 hairs from a follicular unit that contains 4, 5 or 6 hairs even.

im at the point where if i can save vellus hairs on my head, id have a full head of hair. My focus is that now.

I'd have no problem going Hasci again, but next time fully prepared. Obviously have to see the yield first though...

I think at this stage all we can say is that Gho is probably one of the best FUE docs in the world.

How is your recipient area going mate?

Not noticed, and probably too early to tell.

Thats what i suspected. During the procedure I asked and the tech replied "no no noooooo"

I then decided that theyre not, simple because if they were....HST wouldnt have taken so long. Splitting follicles means theres less hunting around. It would be much quicker.

However, in my case, i suspect that in the rush to hit the target of 1200 grafts they might have split some follicles. But its unfair to say, because I simply dont know...

My 2 and 3 hair follicles are set out in a row. Hard to describe. Basically...in my 3 hair grafts...the hairs sprout seperately, in a row, quite widely spread apart. Making it difficult for their small extraction tool to extract 3 hair grafts and some 2 hair grafts. Thats my assumption at this point.

I think they also struggled with the angles of my follicles. I believe its quite erratic back there, not very uniform. At one point the technician asked if i have curly hair (which I dont). I believe she asked this because they were struggling with the odd angles of my follicles. Anyone else got any opinions on this? alot of it are my own conclusions....

The thickeness of my hair might have contributed to the problem too. I dont know. Thats what i mean about the lack of service from them. They obviously had difficulty, but even after asking what the problem is...i have no idea.

You know actually i was planning to go for FUE because i wanted to get more than 1500-2000 grafts in one visit which is not possible with HST (you need at least 2-3 sessions with 6 to 9 months in between) but lack of scaring is the main thing that got me change my mind and decide to go for HST, donor re-generation (if it happens which i kinda beleive it does) is huge plus for the future knowing that i might end up nw6.
    .5 - .6 needle should make a big diffrence than .7 - .95 just like .7 - .95 made a big diffrence than 1.0 + mm.
But i was hoping to do more grafts to see better results, but well, i guess you cant get it all.

Well of course it is... you could be 100% bald and have a buzz cut... but I get the feeling by buzz cut is that he wants something that gives the illusion that he's got some good coverage

GC 2 ops were kinda small 700 grafts each but he sounded pretty much satisfied, his third OP i beleive he said he will be doing 1400 grafts.

c had a very big sly bald area, and he said once he cover it all he will sport the buzz look.

Im sure Gc is still around as i still see him posts every now and then in h*irsite, i hope he would read this and update us.

You made one good point, you know some ppl don't really care about donor regrowth, there are many other advantages of HST over traditional FUE such as lack of scaring and faster recovery, everybody who went to gho confirmed those 2 issues.
