You mentioned you are on OC still too. That is a common side effects from OC- tightness in chest, shortness of breath etc. That is what I got when I was using it. I use seti orally and do not experience any side effects. You may be inhibiting too much pgd2 but using both OC and seti which could cause sides.

I may be experiencing a new side effect from this drug. Over the past 2 weeks, and especially within 15 min of taking a dose, I have noticed a tightness in my chest. It almost feels like I have a pressure buildup. I also have this feeling like I need to burp, like gas is trapped halfway inside my chest/esophagus and I need to let it out. When I swallow a drink it feels like that area of my esophagus is being stretched or has a pressure on it.

Not sure what to make of it but I don't like it. I have been running on the treadmill a lot recently and I haven't noticed this affecting my breathing or anything while im running. Its just a constant feeling like I need to burp to release the pressure.

Is anyone else who is trialing this stuff having anything like this happen to them. BTW my dosage now is between 250 and 300 mg 2x a day.

Sorry to hear about this. Can you state

1) At what total dose/day these effects occur? As in do they only occur at 500mg-600mg a day or do they occur at lower doses?

2) How long do they last? Are they transient or do they last throughout the day?

3) Is your current dose necessary to see any efficacy?

Champpy .I totally feel you..that you feel desperate..But just couple points

1- You can always save your money and get a Decent hair transplant..I was against of it but I have done lots of research about the top
2 or 3 world class doctors and they result is really natural..so you don't have to kill yourself sooner..

2- For Setipipirant , From the congress we have noticed it depends on the level of PGD2 on your scalp..Its dose dependent but
everyone has different level of PGD2 on his scalp..So maybe the dosage you take is much higher than what you need..You take around 600mg each day from what I have read.

3- I have start the Seti yesterday and my dosage is 200mg ...I think its a safe dosage to see how it works and avoid side effect.

Sad thing is that even at 600mg a day i havent noticed any benefits. Im more worried aboht the long term effects of using an untested medication than i am about this chest pressure feeling.

it subsides after about 5 hours. But its pretty bad while it lasts. I also noticed that at lower doses just not as bad.

Ive considered a transplant but i would love for the loss to stabilize first. you would think at 40 years old it would have but it just seems to be getting worse

Switch to topical brother. Start at 3% then try 5%.

Kane seti dissolve in anything lol like neogenic and adenogen. I think he salts it or something like he does with OC ethanol. It looks and feels way different from all the other seti I have seen from other labs.

I've been using this dosage for two weeks. No I'm using several other treatments also. Dut,fin, minox and oc

Champy if you wanted to see if seti works, you should have quit dut, fin, minox and oc and wait at least
a month or two to get DUT out of your system. Now you can't be sure if it's seti or any of the other medication you take that potentially improved you hair.

I quickly experienced sides even at .15mg/day or less. They were quite serious. Are you dissolving it in water?
