Someone mentioned before, if i remember correctly, that seti should be taken topically because orally a lot of the drug gets lost in stomach.

I don't think it's accurate. The original Seti product of Kythera is aimed to be ORAL.
Clinical trials are ORAL.
People might have mentioned they use it topically out of saving reasons (from the reason you mentioned), but SHOULD BE TAKE TOPICALLY is definitely not accurate.

No, he's right. Orally, about 50% gets excreted. Topically, you are inhibiting directly so the drug is concentrated where it needs to be. It works great topically and I'm pretty sure Cots even said that it would make for a good topical. Oral is working, but the dosage needs to be high (400-500mg). Chammpy needs to up his dosage, but he's going to run out too fast. That's why you get on group buys for a decent size order.

Hairy, i only did indo for a cpl weeks. I have a thread on here regarding that treatment somewhere. It really irritated my scalp for weeks after i discontinued, and once i stopped the shedding was major.
but I can honestly say that within 2 days of using Indo my hair loss was almost totally gone. I do think the indo was prohibiting my hair from growing so that sucked, but as far as it falling out it totally stopped

Do you mean 200mg-250mg 2x a day? If you were having sides at 150mg 2x a day then I would think that dose might become intolerable.

Yes twice a day at 200-250 mg. Sides havent been too bad past two days so we will see how it goes tomorrow

champpy dont u have to use a dermaroller for wounding simultaneously? you have to increase PGE2 and decrease PGD2 with wounding and increase progenitor cells if i remmeber correctly. are you just taking seti alone? also where do you buy seti??

Hey Champy, someone pointed me to this thread... I've been trialling Seti topically (topically, in ethanol) I got from a GB on a private forum (non-kane source) and I ran into similar sides. My scalp was completely calm with no inflammation, but my face was swelling a little more each day, especially noticable around my eyes and I got a post-nasal drip. Basically the kind of thing you'd expect from seasonal allergies. Lasted about 10 hours from application and then went away. I'm experimenting with lower doses. Would love to figure out what we have in common vs. people who don't get the sides.

Thats funny man, mine lasted about a day or so and since then ive been ok. It could have been alergies i guess, but i just normally dont get affected by allergies so i assumed it was the seti.
Hasnt happend again yet, but thanks for sharing

I think that you quite simply have unrealistic expectations and expect to see instant results. Hair loss does not visually manifest itself after a few weeks, it goes on for months before we even realise it. Therefore, how do you expect to see any positive hair loss results in a few weeks of starting a new treatment? Yes, I have read that you perceived that you saw instant hair loss results using Tocopherol, but if that was indeed true then that was a very rare occurrence in the world of hair loss.

You definitely need to try to have more realistic expectations as this will also help with reducing anxiety and stress hormones which can indeed cause more hair loss just by itself. I congratulate you on your courage of taking a largely unknown treatment, but if you are going to do something you may as well do it properly. This most definitely includes expectation management!

I hear what you're saying but I was just telling Jake and anyone else they might want to hold up on spending this money until we know it works, and so far I can't say it is or is not working.
