Ok here are the baseline pics (previous post) Ugh i hate it...

First two are w my hair somewhat wet.

Last 4 are dry. It takes 20 min and a lot of hairspray to make my hair look full.

Anyway, if i can at least keep this much hair 6 months from now ill be satisfied. We will see

Looks like you have a full head of hair! I wish my case was similar to yours.
Anyway, I hope Seti will work for you!

Yeah it looks that way but its gotten very very thin all over. I can still hide it but it takes a lot of work each morning.
Dobler, i hope for us all that this works.

I would like to ask a general question:

Is there any problem with taking Fin with Seti on the same time? both orally

Oh man. I'm in the same situation. I miss being able to roll out of bed and have my hair looking good.

That's what I was thinking. I kind of see what he's saying though. Before using RU and saw palmetto I could orgasm and keep right on going until I orgasm again. I can't do that now.

Yeah it makes me not want to get out of bed each morning cause it gets harder by the day

Ok so ive upped my dosage to 150 mg and think ive experienced my first side effect. Past two days my eyes have been very dry and scratchy feeling. I think i recall some other user saying this happened to him too, but i cant remember where i saw it.
Other than that, hair loss is still coming out at the same rate. No slowdown at all after almost a week. Not looking to promising

I think it may be fair to say wait a while and see if your hair shedding stops in a few weeks. For some people it takes a month or more with finasteride for shedding to diminish substantially, for others it happens quickly.

The dosage in trials was 250 2x a day or 500 once a day. The 250 2x a day did better. Taking 150 just once a day is low. You should try it topical if you don't want to run out, otherwise you need to up that dosage. Where did you see that dry scratchy eyes was a side? That's odd.

Champy, please see this through dude. You seem disheartened so early on. You have to give it time. No one has really provided any decent review of set yet and lord knows a lot of people have their hopes pinned on it. Keep going with it mate and keep us posted.

don't worry guys I'm nowhere near giving up. even if my eyes were bleeding i would continue forward if I knew it would save my hair

I know I get disappointed quickly and it's only because I've had one treatment in the past (indomethacin) that had stopped my hair loss almost overnight, so now I expect that with every treatment. I know that's not realistic though

Hey Champpy can you start a new thread about your experiences with indomethacin? How long was it effective for and do you still take it?

Someone mentioned before, if i remember correctly, that seti should be taken topically because orally a lot of the drug gets lost in stomach.
