It's been almost 2 years since dr Christiana's & dr jahoda's breakthrough. I wonder if they were able to solve the gene expression issue. This can be a quick to market procedure because it's super safe, they are using your own cells and there are no growth factors added. There is a bunch of phase 1 safety data thanks to interex, aderans, etc.

He found that cultured human dermal papilla cells have the capacity to induce complete human hair follicles and sebaceous glands and has created intellectual properties for skin substitutes and hair restoration therapies. He is the recipient of the Society for Investigative Dermatology and the Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology Young Fellow Collegiality Award and International Investigative Dermatology Trainee Retreat Fellowship. In 2015 he was selected by the Dermatology Foundation to receive a Career Development Award to study genes regulating hair follicle neogenesis, growth, and development.

There is a difference between interex/Aderans and Christiano/Jahoda work. In order to get the cells to culture without losing hair inductivity they will have to do things to the cells during culture that interex and aderans didn't do, and any time you do something different you have to start new studies from phase 1. Sorry.

Hey renee, I don't think Darling talk about this in his quote on the website, but about his more recent work with Rajesh Thangapazham on follicular neogenesis who received derm awards,etc

Better delivery methods are still pretty huge. I agree completely plenty of stuff out now like topical spiro might work 10 times better if delivered more effectively. Delivering stuff topically is not a trivial problem
