well said Sdsurfin. I don't understand why Swooping is loosing his time to write some bullshits with his limited knowledge. He knows some things, better than me of course but better than a doctor, and a doctor from harvard ? Swooping is ridiculous and he have to wait the results before to give his point of view from his bro science.

Genius comment, made my day haha.

Anyway this is the only site where this treatment is perceived anyway as holding any validity by a handful of people. Seems almost as if there are some shills here. On all other sites people are skeptical as hell. Results or gtfo, simple as that. It doesn't even get attention and people quickly wrote it off. Community has had enough of snake-oils and sub-par shit treatments. Glad that more people are seeing the joke of this magical unicorn story. With that I'll leave it at this . You'll always hold some naive people, it's understandable.

P.S. sdsurfin, really your story is full of nonsense and anecdotal bullshit. I'm not even going to respond. Arguing with you is like I would argue with someone from the baptist church and he would continue to argue that the world is flat and has 4 corners. You do continue to make my day though, thanks for that mate.

Swooping, perhaps, thanks to your knowledge, you can give lessons at Harvard Medical School ?? because you are the new Einstein.

This is actually quite entertaining lol. We have some smart guys here on both sides of the fence but like it has been said, let's wait and see before jumping to conclusions. I don't think they are trying to rip us off like that crazy chlorine dioxide guy. If it works, all well and good. If it doesnt, well maybe we will at least learn something new.

Indeed. Just don't feed the swooping. I'd say there are many possible outcomes for this, and I'd be surprised if it doesn't do something. Will it be effective in the long run? Not really sure. It always takes time to test anything though, so no point injecting pseudo science into anything. Bottom line is very knowledgeable people are working on some new things, and any one of those could or could not pan out, and I've yet to meet a forum person who has the background to pretend to know more than the guys testing these drugs.

Yeah man. Within the last page we've had both political affiliation and religion thrown as personal insults.

I'm personally waiting for an invite to Swooping and sdsurfin's wedding, they're perfect for one another. They bicker just like my grandparents and they've been married for like 100 years.

I think what everyone here needs to realize is that Follicept might work. And it might not work. I really hope it does. But I won't be surprised if it doesn't. And beyond that, no one knows shit. Like, at all. This study says this, this other study contradicts it. We don't know. We can speculate all we want, but making definitive statements either way is insulting to the scientific process.

That said, Swooping, I'm glad you've toned down the personal attacks, it makes it much easier to take you seriously when you're not calling everyone a baboon or saying they shoot heroin. You make some good points.

We're all in this together. We should act like it.

+1 except for marrying swooping. I like my romantic partners female and sentient. Even a baboon has standards.....

@ sdsurfin Spot on. I really do get a kick out of Swoopings posts the past few weeks. Devon has clearly stated several times that there is a possibility this might not even work so I don't know why the word scam is being thrown about so freely. He certainly doesn't seem like he's holding back from us and has gone to great trouble to answer our questions in detail. Collectively, we should give the guy a break. I'm surprised he still bothers posting after the torrents of abuse and critisim he has suffered. I'm happy to just sit back and let these guys get on with it. sd its good to know you have formed a rapport with the follicept team as this could be very helpful to us all here and can't think of a better person for the job.

@Jagger Agree with that friend. I don't claim to know much about anything hair loss related. Were lucky in that we have a good few members on here (sdsurfin, noisette to name a couple) who are very knowledgeable but some who also think they know everything there is to know and there is no reasoning with them. As you say, bottom line here is we're all in the same boat so we should be helping each other not acting like we're back in school.

Yes, right. It's a topical histogen.
At first injections are bad because igf1 can reach the blood vessels and get systemic but then histogen is using it via injections and they can achieve regrowth, so it's a nice procedure.
But why then histogen should pass fda? Are they using a great dosage of igf1 and prometheon pharma a tiny one? And why the main factor of histogen is igf1?Is there a source for that?
And the greatest from all i read. This technology targets exactly the follicle and gets no systemic. As for the scientists and their reputation i would say that behind every scam product there are doctors who graduated from some university of florida etc.

I agree people shouldn't be attacking each other and Devon, but just because Devon says "it might not work" does not mean it's not a scam. He could be saying this to gain trust and then show some pictures of "results" and then all of a sudden they have a million people believing their product works and are making money like crazy. We've seen it before, and it can happen again. I sincerely hope they come up with something that works, but I have high doubts they will because of the fact they are making outlandish statements and already named a product that doesn't have a single trial on humans. We all know everything works on rats.

I can see your point but its early days yet. None of us have had to sacrifice anything or part with our money. We will see what they have to offer us over the coming months. I'm remaining positive about this but won't be disappointed if it doesn't turn out to be what we hope for. Until then I don't think its fair to write them off. Let's give them a chance and see what they come up with is all I'm saying. We have a mix of harsh critiques, hasty members and those of us who are in the middle ground which I think is the healthiest approach.
