Nah, long story short: Jahoda et al managed to biogenerate Human Hair follicles, using 3d spheres to grow DP cells, on human skin on SCID mouse( http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showpos...&postcount=116 ). Now forum member Boldy, who's a biotech guy and Dr Nigams are going to try to repeat this, on Boldy himself, on another forum member and on Tom. If they can repeat what Jahoda did, generate hair follicles, then .... we'll you know what party time

you realize that having forum members of the biggest hairloss site on the planet try this out is huge, right? he has to be completely confident in it's ability. cause if it doesn't work, we'll all know. that in itself is pretty exciting

So would you get just one follicular unit from each spheroid ball of cells?

    Good Luck!
i don't think anyone really knows yet. Tsuji Labs (Team Tokyo) produced 124 hair shafts from 28 hair germs which was implanted within 1cm2 in their mouse model. that's over 4 hairs for every hair germ but they did not mention how many follicular units.

perhaps when the latest Higgins/chistiano/jahoda paper is released of 3d culturing we might know a little more

No it won't be. You underestimate the predictability of human stupidity. Even if there were a flat out complete cure reversing NW7 to NW0, there will still be enough ignorant people to come streaming into Dr. Cole's clinic ready to whip out heaps of cash for stone age treatments. Case in point? LeBron James. His hairline is fading and you can clearly see a strip scar on the back of his head where there never was one. He could have opted for scarless FUE. He could have opted for Dr. Gho. Even with all his millions of dollars, this dude goes for the worst option on the market.

Cole isn't going to lose business overnight.

But, if he has any plans on being relevent for a while, he damn well better take what Dr. Nigams is doing and use it to his advantage... otherwise, he's going to see his business slowly fold. So, either shape up, or ship out.

I still can't believe finasteride is being sold as a treatment... 2013 and we're still waiting for a fvcking cure and we're only now talking about the possibility of a cure and the credibility of Dr. Nigams. Just PATHETIC.

To be honest, I know the cells will be trichonic, in 3d and even 2d.. the combo with what I have described in my earlier post that has not done yet, is also very encouraging..

Somehow I feel its my responsibility is to make the best and fine tune the culture methods like explained in my earlier post in page 85, and real life data should tell us, how much repeated treatments, should be needed for good density.

I believe in everything is possible.. , the question remains: all this energy and time put in this project enough to solve or cure our hairloss?

    Lets go and find out.
great bro, you finally did it. cant wait to hear about it and the final protocol.

would also be interested in hearing about the lab conditions and safety compliance. knowledge of the lab technicians, etc

    godspeed ..

Nobody cares what Dr Cole thinks, If Nigam is successful, he will be irrelevant.
