While I agree, don't spend every waking moment on here, it's nice to track all these experimental treatments...id of never even heard of histogen etc without tbt, much less Bpn-32 or RU

I never had high hopes for anything anyway. The only thing I would have liked to see were results from histogen and Aderans. Even that didn't happen. Not yet anyway.Comment

The problem is that the flux of new baldies continue, and for the first couple of years they come with really inflated expectations
Then people who take the skeptic approach get attacked as "pessimists" and "close-minded" because we don't support the newest snake oil or get excited at another mice studyComment

they know much more than they did back then, yes we are still at least a few years away, but it's not like we dont have products that are producing results(bim and histogen currently at least).Comment

I agree yeahyeahyeah, I gave this advice on the show but even I find myself lingering around for some announcement and as a consequence I find myself feeling much more miserable. Guys, set a website blocker on your internet browser and block this forum, seriously. Give it 2-3 weeks and don't get your hopes up for any major news, we will likely get updates from Histogen about phase II and possibly from Replicell and Aderans, until then as yeahyeahyeah says try to live your lives.
Peace, BB.
But that's it.
The trouble is when you start posting to the point it becomes a habit.Comment

Iron man you are just a depressive dick for someone who is not working on a cure themselves.
The word pessimism should have your face tagged to it.
Even if there is no cure anytime soon, hope is a powerful thing. It gives people a sense of optimism which in turn may spill into other areas of life.Comment

yea but science is not static and there is reason to be more optimistic than even 5 years ago.

Bim and histogen are the same. Bim has already failed at a specific dose, and histogen hasn't shown a male result with a cosmetic improvement
I don't see any improvement at all, yes, we have PGD2 but back then people were also heavily optimistic about Acell, PRP, wounding stuff that went nowhereComment

5 years ago (and a couple of years more) we had intercytex and aderans and people were already calling each other stupid because they wanted an HT when they just had to wait for 2010 and HM would return all their hair back. Hell, even people were more optimistic about results back then, now no one believe an NW 7 is going to get a cosmetic result

Aderans was always a shady horse.Comment

If it produces more growth than minoxidil it's defenitely an improvement.
Histogen has to release their next results which will come very soon.
you're also not counting how much hair transplant technology has improved as well.
like I said before, the science is only getting better, we know more and more each day, it's not an industry that will improve in a week, it takes years to test these things, but the baby steps are happening for sure.
but we could argue back and forth all day, we definitely need to see some hard definitive results soon.Comment

It says on Replicel's website 'commercial product may be available in 2015 in non-Western jurisdictions'. Surely this must be incorrect?Comment

If the results are mediocre, then it's bad news
Intercytex also did the same "will try other approaches" after they got mediocre results from their phase II trials. As always (like people did with replicel) people tried to claim that they were good results, like propecia without sides, accused people from pessimism. Intercytex doesn't exists anymore, and their information doesn't seems to be helping Aderans a lot
you're also not counting how much hair transplant technology has improved as well.
Besides some robots that nobody uses, I don't know about any other improvement
The only treatment I remain optimist is CB-03-01
Then Aderans and Histogen but they remain neutral, there is nothing to be excited, only time passes and is starting to bring their effectiveness into questionComment
