Fols,
As u are aware DUPA(diffuse unpattern alopecia) is also androgenetic in nature, but the patients lose hair even in safe donor area.
Many follicles are miniaturizing and follicles are thin.
It is contraindicated for hair transplant.
You should first do a biopsy of scalp tissue ,
1)to see if the problem is progressive
2)whether there is immune attack on scalp skin other than follicle.
If immune attack is on follicle,
body follicles/or body follicle stemcells/dp cells will work.
If the immune attack is on scalp skin other than follicle...
sorry nothing will work, till the inherent problem which is responsible for this immune attack can be taken care of.
Depends upon biopsy report ..we can comment further, whether follicle stemcell injections, dpculture injections and growth factor injections will work or not.
If there is no more than normal MPB fibrosis or immune damage to follicle or surrounding skin, than you have good chance with these therapies.
You should also check your serum DHT levels.
