    Fols,
As u are aware DUPA(diffuse unpattern alopecia) is also androgenetic in nature, but the patients lose hair even in safe donor area.
Many follicles are miniaturizing and follicles are thin.
It is contraindicated for hair transplant.
You should first do a biopsy of scalp tissue ,
1)to see if the problem is progressive
2)whether there is immune attack on scalp skin other than follicle.
If immune attack is on follicle,
body follicles/or body follicle stemcells/dp cells will work.
If the immune attack is on scalp skin other than follicle...
sorry nothing will work, till the inherent problem which is responsible for this immune attack can be taken care of.
Depends upon biopsy report ..we can comment further, whether follicle stemcell injections, dpculture injections and growth factor injections will work or not.

If there is no more than normal MPB fibrosis or immune damage to follicle or surrounding skin, than you have good chance with these therapies.
You should also check your serum DHT levels.

I find more and more faith in this. Many thanks for the effort to bring this out to the people who suffer from this illness, dear Dr. Nigam. You are bringing this up to a whole new level. Great! Hopefully you will succeed with this treatment. Looking forward to see the results from the latest treatments.

I do have some questions related to safety that I want to have some opinions on. Is this treatment safe, or are there any dangers related to it?

If its really Dupa, than you should NOT be worried. in this study:

        Follicular Cell Implantation: An Emerging
        Cell Therapy for Hair Loss
Jeffrey Teumer, Ph.D.,1 and Jerry Cooley, M.D.2

Allogeneic cells, will not be rejected after transplantation!

which means, if someone else trichonic cells (dp/ds) are incubated, and injected in the host scalp (your scalp), the cells, will act the same as in the donor scalp. (NW0/ Afro-Style ).

with other word, there is a cure for you, if this procedure gets approved.

So enjoy your life and don't loose hope!

Nobody with any thoughts on this? This is my primary concern regarding all treatments. It has to be 100% safe.

          Hopefully this will work!

I find the safety pretty convincing. Especially since Aderans are also into the same thing and has FDA-approval on it.

I have pretty much made up my mind, after a long, long time with consideration and research, to book a appointment at Nigam. It`s either him or Gho, but I acctually find Nigam as the better sollution. I know that there will be many people arguing the other way. I will fore sure follow the cases that he has posted here on the site, but I will book an appointment in the near future.

I have been lurking around these sites for years, and I now finally feel that there might be hope for us.

Either way, I`m tired of using all kinds of medicines for hair loss. And maybe using Propecia is more dangerous than taking a HT. I dont want to use that medicine.

Altering ur body chemistry cant be safe, 5alpha reductase affects more than just dht. Supressing that can only do god knows what to ur body. On the other hand getting a for life smiley scar or white dots its not better either...

With this said we are left with gho, who is safe scarless and +\- proven regeneration and dr nigam who has yet to prove his technique.

In conclusion, i hope nigam will prove his stuff with time and we aka hairloss sufferers will have more options.

Also, of course lets hope that aderans, histogen and replicel may bring something to the table in the near future.

                    One,
This patient will return back from malaysia in 6 weeks time for followup and hm,dp culture injection plus 5000 grafts invivo doubling.
Fortunately he has bought video microscope on my request, for posting follow up pics.
As soon as he sends me the pics ,i will post the same.

Doctor, why don't you just do a procedure on a nw7 of this forum like Baldozer and prove to us it all works. Set up a live webcam procedure with Spencer and have it all monitored.

That's awesome to hear doctor, but what I'm saying is, why don't you take a trusted nw7 member of this forum and pay for his flight to and from India and have it all filmed and have him take photos (high quality that can be explained by Hellouser) of his head every few weeks or so. (someone we can trust to take good pictures and be honest about the procedure)

Sure, you will have to throw out some money for his flight, but that money would be paid back to you a million times over when every member of this forum would be flying to India to have a procedure from you. Not to mention, you would be looked at as the most highly respected doctor in the field after you proved your methods.

You doing this with a highly active, respected member of the forum would mean everything. There would be no criticism after that if all went well.

Doing the procedure on people on your staff or people over in India that we don't know and are not a part of the forum is practically useless to us, compared to doing what I suggested.

I am again ok with your suggestion,i will need proper photos of the selected member to check out his recipient, donor and any medical history.
Although in april and may2013 ..in total 3forum members are coming to take treatment of HM injections,dp injections and donor doubling.
Those cases will also be documented.

                              ..
