Taking .05mg finasteride effective with fewer side effects?

I have 1mg finpecia tablets (UK), so they aren't that bad to cut compared to a proscar. I was taking 0.5 mg/day for 18 months, and I have sides, but i've tried adjusting the dose now and then. The past week I took 0.2 mg every other day, but now I'm thinking i'm going to aim for sub 0.1mg daily at the very most. -
??
Could I make topical fin crushing up tablets and putting them in spectral dnc?Leave a comment:

0.5 mg twice a week is the dosage I would be interested in starting, at least in the beginning. I've read a few people say that was sufficient and without sides.Leave a comment:

Honestly I don't know about topical fin. I imagine it would not work that well. Topical anti-androgens like RU have shown to be on par with the effectiveness compared to fin. You have to get these in powder form and mix it with a vehicle solution. If you are serious about hairloss it is worth trying. You can however experience sides similar to fin if you use to much of it.Leave a comment:

So do we still get bad sides with topical fin? So how do I make topical fin?Leave a comment:

Dude I don't want to scare you, but keep in mind this drug has only been around since the 90's. Alot of people take it, are fine for years, get off it, and there system crashes. Are you on it? Do you plan to be? If so think about a low dose my brother.Leave a comment:

Bro I know what you are talking about. I have talked with derm and GP about it and the lack of knowledge they have is really troubling. I asked for full panel blood tests, hormones and semen alysis to be done prior to taking, and my doc said no it is not necessary. This is actually what he emailed back to me when I askedGreat question. I believe it's because there is nothing else "FDA" proven to maintain or help hair regrow besides the Big 2. Doc's are really big on prescribing these type of drugs.
My original DERM didn't mention any of the possible sides and when I brought it up, he looked at me as if I was an alien and stated he had "1" client that mentioned erectile dysfunction. I knew more about Propecia and the possible sides then a certified doctor..again, this is why I rolled the dice.
'no need for any tests...propecia such a small dose no real significant side effects. most of the side effects you read about finastermide is based on 5 mg/day NOT propecia 1 mg.'
I mean, can you believe this ****in bozo? I emailed him back citing certain studies about persistent sides etc, and now I have an appointment in person with him tomorrow, and I am very interested to see how it goes. Just thought you may find it interesting lol. A very knowledgable person told me to just lie about symptoms to get tests done, i should have listened. Im gonna try and reason with my doc, drop pure knowlede and facts on him. Doc's got big ego's though so we will see what happens.
I do plan to take it though. I plan to dissolve 1mg pills in 95%alchol so I can take small and precise doses. I have done a lot of research on it, weighed the cost benifits, and for me personally it is worth experiancing with it at a very small dose. I am talking 0.05-1.125mg, every several days. I know you will have people chime in saying this and that about how effective a certain dose will be and what sides will result. There are a couple studies I have read and in the next couple days I will post more about it for those who are interested. The mechanisms of fin on the 5ar enzyme are very complicated. You have things that people THINK in theory should not happen, but happen in practice. The problem is most people dont have a clue what the inhibiting 5ar does, and how taking 1mg/day is needlessly high and the fact MERCK and FDA approved this for a daily dosage is criminal. Drug companies are corrupt and anyone with a clue will tell you this.Leave a comment:

I think
The problem is before talking this drug we all worry about sexual sides and get them in our head too not just the drug!Leave a comment:

Hey stay thick, what dose did you take when you were on finasteride???Leave a comment:

Curly that's not the point though, the fact is, why take an estrogen blocker to prevent sides from Fin? At that rate he will seek a solution or something to take for the other sides FIN will cause because believe you me, it is not limited to one.Taking an estrogen blocker rarely has side effects for men as I understand it. The reason gyno and other side effects occur is due to the fact that estradiol and DHT counteract each other. So not only do you decrease DHT's antagonism of estradiol by taking finasteride, but because you're lowering DHT by inhibiting the reduction of testosterone to DHT, you wind up with more testosterone. Because estradiol is made from testosterone the problem is compounded further.

With that logic, you might as well ask that Doc of yours to prescribe Viagra, to combat the weak dong, Adderrall to combat the brain fog and cognitive impairment it will cause..then take products to combat the ones I just mentioned that might give sides....
My point is it's a never ending cycle that will destroy your body. My recommendation..ask people you know or find out more information about FIN. I did all my research prior and rolled the dice..I figured nothing can be permanent. Well I was WRONG...in time I think I'll be fine..but dude if you try it...try it..but DEAL with the consequences as I have..
All for hair at that..ironically I haven't lost any more hair since quitting and possibly have regrown...the purpose of FIN didn't even perform what it was intended too..that's what aggravates me the most. I'd still quit, but I would shrug my shoulders if my hairline filled in and if I experienced overall thickening..NOT THE CASE.
It's rolling the dice bro, but do your research.Leave a comment:
