You'll definitely care in your late 30s. There's a lot of guys here in their 40s, 50s, etc with a great job, family, white picket fence... you know, the typical american dream... but they still want their hair. It's downright unaffordable.
I'm not gonna care about getting an HT in my late 30's or so when i have a great job and a lot of income.
You care way more when you're in your 20's and 30's, which for the most part means a much smaller income and thus 13-20k for an HT is just out of the question.
India and Turkey offering about 2$ per graft is fantastic, but oyu do have to add in flight($1400 or so) so it's around a 5k discount at the end of the day.
Having hair is priceless. I'd trade my balding scalp for many of my tangible acquirements.Leave a comment:

Damn seriously. Is it really safe to travel to the middle east for anything, let alone surgery? The price is definitely right though. In the US $8/graft for FUE is pretty ridiculous.Leave a comment:

question for those who have used Finasteride.
have any of you considered taking a small dose of an aromatase inhibitor with the finasteride to keep the DHT - Testosterone - Estrogen a little more balanced?Leave a comment:

Erdogan is my surgeon of choice too, IHRS approved and much cheaper than the top european names. His post-op pictures look fantastic. He doesnt speak any english and requires a translator though.
To the original poster: I agree with your first post and your username rocks!Leave a comment:

I found Koray Erdogan's website but it's under construction.
They have an email there for any questions however.Leave a comment:

Dr Doganay and Dr Erdogan, who both work in Turkey, are two highly skilled surgeons. Their skills are on par with the North American doctors and they are about a quarter of the cost.
I'm definitely considering one of them this year. 1500 grafts would restore my hairline; my hair loss is pretty slow and is only recession, no thinning on top.Leave a comment:

Yeah, I think a surgeon has to have good results to be recommended by ISHRS. You can also find some of his work on this site, just do a search. But the bulk of his patients post in hair restoration network.Leave a comment:

Wow, that is extremely cheap!! does he have good results?? I would honestly consider him, 2000 grafts for about 2700 or so would completely restore my hair.
India: Dr Bhatti - $1.20 - $1.40 USD per graft
