Hi Stevie
Thanks for the comments , I have not seen any scarring at all from beard extractions from bhr . I have seen white dotting from other Drs though , think it depends on extraction tool , punch size , Dr skill ,
Punch used on me was .8mm manual punch ,
heres before and after 16 months , 2 pics in middle are prior , one right is post op , first pic 16 month later .
many thanks

@ Ejj, I am sure you will be man, no scarring visible. Have you seen any pics or heard of anyone with visual scarring from beard FUEs under the chin besides the guy that shaved directly after the surgery? Thanks again for the updates though ejj, I am sure you will kick those scars in the ass once and for all.Leave a comment:

If there is anyone who is a good candidate for using beard for grafting it's you... You have by far one of the thickest beards I've seen. You should have great coverage when all said and done. The healing looks great so far as well.....Leave a comment:

Sparky.... would definately like to see your scars work before and after.
The before photo is parted above the scar... the after is the same to show the growth in the scar.......Don't really know what else to say. I think it is exactly what they wanted to show. Keep in mind that is only one pass and it looks quite good. Personally I would hit it again and make that bad memory go bye bye.Leave a comment:

I know that hair is growing out of the scar, but it isn't parted in the middle of the scar, it's parted at the top edge of the scar. You can tell that by looking at the before and after.Leave a comment:

I hope that Acell works for ya man, it will be interesting to see, have you seen it being used on body hair, like leg hair, chest hair and so on? And have you seen Sparky's scar? Looks really good, the only question is the pigment, and I belived that can be helped by fraxel if it even needs it. I'm exited to see your guys after pics though man, take it easy.Leave a comment:

Sorta forgot all about this thread.... Sorry about that. I agree with you 100% on a couple things here. Absolutely correct when saying a good Dr will leave minimal scarring. That is the main reason we choose such Dr's. Acell shouldn't be used on strips.... period. those that are don't know what their doing. Its said advantage in FUE is decreasing hypopigmentation and regeneration of donor. Am I interested in a small investment with potential large gains? Yes. Especially if the risk of damage is obsolete on donor FUE sites. I have never heard of Acell used on beard extraction sites. I have also never seen any major scaring. I would venture to say that most likely is the result of extremely small punches that are used. The video shows the comb being combed through the left side of this patients head, but the description says he had a strip middle and right side so the video isn't showing the strip anyway.
A good fue doctor will leave minimal donor scarring anyway, without the use of Acell, so showing results of grown out fue proves nothing. By the way, in the first link you posted, the hair is parted at the top of the scar, not the middle, so it doesn't show what has grown into it.
Acell certainly does seem to cause aggressive stretching, and imho Acell powder shouldn't be used in strip scar revision, or straight forward strip scar surgery. A good tricho closure will produce a good enough closure to avoid stretching on one strip being taken, but keep on taking strips and you will never be happy with your scar.
The problem is some Dr's are using Acell on scar revision to make things better, but it just doesn't.
Glad I got you laughing though.
... check out that first link again. zoom in on the after photo's and I think you'll see the hair is growing out the scar, not the area over the scar. The scar just doesn't have the same density as the surrounding area. It looks a little airy and perhaps need another pass. However, his hair is long and don't see how that would really benifit him unless he goes with a short style. As for the video, the purpose isn't to show the strip scar, it's to show the absence of white dotting.
Listen, I understand some don't believe Acell does anything at all. It's their choice to have it used or not. I don't really consider it a hot topic. For me and others, if it can bring some benifit in terms of healing and re-growth without the risk of damage, I'm going to use it. I felt the need to comment on the phrase "only ever". As for my experience with it, I'll know more in a few months.Leave a comment:

@Sparky, hey bro can't wait to see that dome piece of yours as it was looking excellent in those last pics. Are you planning to do fraxel a year after your last session? Hope to hear more from ya brotha.Leave a comment:
