@ Sparky, I didn't realize the first pic at first, ya that was a big scar, why is it dark around the scar in the pic when shaved down? I agree I think your almost there, the gaps are still maybe .3 of a mm but nothing too crazy. Agreed worst mistake ever, but life goes on and I firmly believe it can be fixed. I went to a fraxel lady today she assured me that the hair around won't be damaged but Bisanga has told me you should wait 1 year after scar grafting so you don't damage the hair inside the scar, not sure if Bisanga is my man yet, still looking though I have to say he is probably right and I wouldn't risk it. However I think you will be covered at at least a two grade now after some time, have you looked at this SMP stuff http://www.tonibelfatto.it/it/6/cos-...ntazione-.html I aint sold yet but it is suppose to be temporary. I think a mixture of both FUE and this could make it invisible. Here is where I have been posting my experience so far http://www.hairlosshelp.com/forums/m...11&startpage=1. I will remove the grafts tomorrow with the Alexandrite laser and was told possibly only one laser treatment. How long did you wait in between putting in the grafts? Thanks again man I hope it all work out for ya, I will let you know if I find anything out that might help you. -
@ Sparky, thanks alot for the pics, how many grafts did you say were put into the scar? Were they put on just one side at a time like ejj's? It really don't look too bad man as the scar has not curve, mine had a curve which makes it look more like a HT scar even if it is smaller... Do you have any pics showing your whole head? How does it look now shaved to say a two or three? Or have you tried? Th hairs at this point are just popping out I assume and with time they will look better, wouldn't you say?
@ejj, why did Bisanga do just one side and not both? Is it unusual for a doc to do that? I have not seen Feriduni, Cole or anyone take that approach...Does he think then he can pack them in better? I was under the impression that if you pack them in too tight they will fight each other for blood, or is that only true when talking amount the amount in total vs the size of the scar? But I figured that if you put say 150 into my thin scar and then wait and do another 150 scattered about that perhaps it will be hard to place in-between the grafts...maybe Bisanga is an inivator or....I mean what do you think ejj, does this make sense. Or perhaps he just wanted to show you the improvement...but wouldn't he want you to maybe wear a grade or 2 shorter every 8 months or so? IDK what do you think? Any one else feel free to chim in and I know it can be confusing so I will try to explain better if you would like that, I know it is hard explaining something like this on the internet.Leave a comment:

5 months post-op

I had more into the scar a year after this, then a bit more 3 weeks ago.

I dont know what it looks like shaved at the moment, but should be a damn sight better than at the 5 months post first grafting picture.Leave a comment:

Still on my phone, will post some pics later.
I am done with HT's.
Do I. Consider it a mistake? Yes, biggest mistake of my entire life!!
I think the stitch marks are raised but scar may not be.
I have heard of fraxel, dunno whether it would help or not. I worry that it may hurt the hair in and around it.Leave a comment:

Wow, sounds like a hastle man guess I was lucky in the middle of a bad choice. I hope I get mine even finer with fraxel and another cortisone shot and care for a couple months before I do the FUE, I hope to get my area where it is 1.2 mm or so to under 1mm and the areas where it is half a mm i would like to go down as well, my middle is very hard to find. I was also told that the trico hair can grow through up to two years out....I have my fingers crossed as some disagree. But still if I want to cut my hair real short I am sure I will need another pass as only so many can be implanted without making them fight for the blood an all. Are you done with HTs? Do you consider it a mistake or are you happy with your hair? Have you heard of fraxel laser, do you think it may help you? Was your scars raised? Do you think a raised scar hurts when implanting grafts into it? My scar is less raised after a cortisone shot that helped reduce my scar...I hope that it being raised is kinda good as I noticed when the raisedness goes down the scar gets smaller as the scar kinda closes more, so hopefully I can shrink mine up still half way. Thanks for the willingness to post your pics and for your responses.Leave a comment:

My scar varied from 10mm at the left end, to 4-5mm at the other end. The bit that was 10mm was only 10-15mm long, the rest if the scar was leas than this.
Posting from my iphone atm so cant post pics, but will do when I get a chance. There is some white dot scarring from the fue, I dont think that can be avoided on the scalp, you take tissue and you get a scar, albeit small. from
what I have seen this doesnt seem to be the case on the beard.
I have had a fair bit into the scar, one session of about 500, then another 18 months later of 300, then another very small touchup of 30-40 about 3 weeks ago.Leave a comment:

@sparky, could you post some pics before and after? How wide is your scar? 3mm, 4,5? How many FUEs did you use? What did you think of Bisanga? How was he in your opinion? He is up there on my list to pick at the moment...any FUE scarring noticible? Did you use beard, scalp, body? Thanks again for the response Sparky.Leave a comment:

Yes I fue'd into at BHR, decent yeild, correct angles. My hair is longish now, but with two mirrors I find it much harder to locate the scar. I can find it because I know where it is.
My scar is a similar length to yours but wider with stitch marks.Leave a comment:

@Sparky, yes I think you are right. Did you FUE into the scar? How was the result if you did? Thanks for the kind words on my scar, it is small but I would trade for a virgin scalp any day. I am confident the FUE will help immensely now the only thing is booking a doc and doing it.Leave a comment:

I don't think that the hairs seen on Dr Cole's website are misangled. I don't think that those were put there by Dr Cole at all, when you take a strip it changes the directions of the hairs below the scar, as you pull the lower incision to meet the top incision, it puts tension on the hairs, and changes their angles, this happened to me.Leave a comment:

Wish my scar was as small as yours, sounds like an easy fix really. My scar was horrible.Leave a comment:

hi Stevie
no worries man , your scar is pretty small (sound of it ) , i think 2 procedures would finish it , re the pms im not sure wil have a look , have you thought about putting pictures up for the forum , we could follow your progress then , just a thought
good question re shaving first procedure was about five weeks before i wet shaved , best to get some beard trimmers and clipper it down and shape the edges , like a designer stubble , i was ok five days later , the scabs fell off , day 6 looked like a small shaving rash , the amount you need can be extracted from below the jawline so should be easy to hide
all the best
