Ok, but my widow's peaks are not normal or what? I have seen many adults with a maturing hairline, but they don't all have widow's peak like mine.

Your hair line is natural and normal for an adult male.

Book an appointment with a dermatologist who specializes in treating hair loss.

I really appriciate the time you use to help and guide me, Tracy.
However I don't really think I would be in peace before my hairline is a bit lower and a little bit more juvenile, than it is at this point. It's really hard to find a good hair style now (if even possible) and my forehead just looks to long.

Maybe I just have to lie about beeing transgendered, lol.
Btw! I'm not try to be difficult, I just wanna continue living a happy life like anybody else (including you) at this forum.

Keep this firmly in your mind:

Hair transplant is the LAST step in addressing your hair loss. First thing to do is take medications for multiple years, and once it stabilizes then go in for a HT if you're a candidate. Memorize this.

Also get on Proscar if you really are losing your hair. Do you have a family history of MPB?

Book an appointment with a doctor who specilizes in treating hair loss - but don't lie to the doctor. Hair transplant surgery is a last resort. Don't jump straight off into transplant surgery. You need to try treating it first to see if you can arrest it and possibly reverse some of it. At your age, you can probably reverse enough of it to make you happy.

My father and is nearly 60 and have a full lock of hair, my grandfather (on daddy's side) also have a full head of hair and his almost 80 years old.

My grandfather (on mom's site) did loose his hair in a pretty early age i think.

And where do I find determologist who speacialize in hair loss?

Avoid the clubs and chain clinics. The best place to start is here:

Also, you have some reading to do. The more you know the more you can help yourself. There is a ton of junk information on the web concerning hair loss. It can be very difficult to navigate through all that garbage. The best information available to you can be found at the American Hair Loss Association.

For now, start using Nizoral A-D shampoo in place of your regular shampoo once a week. After about four months, look into using Rogaine foam once a day every other day about two hours before your bedtime. As you get used to the medicine in Rogaine, slowly increase your dose over time.

And what about propecia or proscar?

And I don't live in any of the countries which was available on the website you provided me.

You need to talk to a doctor to determine if Finasteride is right for you. I am trying to be more careful when talking about Finasteride because the concerns over the possible side effects do not apply to me. All I can really tell you about it is the same thing you can read at the American Hair Loss Association. I do know that it is important to block DHT production if you are male or block DHT reception if you are female. I take medicine to block DHT reception but that medicine would not be appropriate for you.

No, ok. I guess I will see how it goes with Replicel's trial I/II.
If it's succesful, I will just wait until the product reach the marked and not expose myself for any potentially bad side-effects by the hair medications.

Bro you're WAY too young for something like that. It's too early to know how your hair loss is going to progress. If you had a transplant into your hairline, and ended up with extensive baldness on top it would become impossible to fix in a few years as your progression continued.

Now with that being said, you might just be maturing as a previous poster pointed out and this isn't actually male pattern baldness in it's early stages. Only time will tell.

You might still want to wait another 2-3 years but the first step you should try if this gets worse is Propecia. See how you respond to that for a year or two before even considering a surgical procedure.

Damn! I just discovered that small hairs around the hairline is a certain sign of male balding pattern. I have these types of hair, I live in Norway and I don't know who I should contact. I don't think there's any specialists in hairloss here. I'm freaking out now, emotionally. What to do?

You may be a lot luckier than me, a cure could be coming out within 5 years. It may seem like too long for you to cope with but you may at least be blessed with not having to go through all of your 20's suffering from this disease.

I recommend saving as much money as possible so that when a cure does come out you can afford it.

Money is not the biggest issue. I just want a to know what I can do right now to slow down or stop the balding process.

And I'm really greatful for belong to this generation because a cure or at least an effective tratment is very near. But it's still kills me emotional. However I guess that's also the case for the majority of hair loss sufferers.

Its killed me emotionally. But as I say you may be lucky enough that you will only have to go through this for 5 or less years....we hope. A company called Replicel could have some good news for us baldies next month.

There is not much you can do to save your hair but take Finasteride, but I'll let you make your own decision on that. It is supposed to help 95% of men. I have literally just started taking it.
