Some of you may know me from another blog site. I joined here because i do respect Spencer Kobren's 'The Bald Truth'. I have visited from time to time in the past. Recently I came to the site to listen to the Naughton/HSC interview. What i really admired was Kobren's desire not to use HYPE or to get overexcited on this topic. That being said i decided to register and join into the forums. I am thinking strongly about HTs. Nothing over the top (no pun intended) just enough for my personal confidence. Why is it that its oK for women to NEED hair if they experience loss but men are expected to be resilient and above it all? Hope this forum is beneficial for me and all else.

WOW this was my very first thread started on 4-27-2010, on this forum.

Since then I have accepted the realities of my hairloss not that I ever allowed my hairloss to seriously effect me... I would never get over-emotional about my hair.
In 2013 I decided to try using Finasteride and it has been and is still improving my hair.
My hair is NOT what I would prefer it to be like but I am accepting of what it is for now.

Of course we ALL would prefer to have a FULL head of hair, men and woman alike!
I think that I had joined 2 other hairloss forums as well back then in 2010
but Spencer Kobren's BTT was and is the best hairloss forum to be connected to for everyone.

Next month, November 2015, I will be a patient of Dr. Wesley's next Phase Testing which
could possibly be a 'Game-Changing' new science for hair transplantation!!

I will get everyone here updated.

Hey Artista... What NW level would you say you are at now? Do you use minoxidil and nizoral as well?

Hi James' !
I went up to a NW 5+ in 2013.
Since I have been on Finasteride, over 2 years now, I would say that my hairloss is at a low-end NW 5 now. Finasteride is continuing to improve my hair,,slowly.
I am accepting of that.
At times, I will go places without wearing a hat or a bandanna.

I have yet to use Minoxidil or Nizoral (silly me-lol) ...which one would you suggest?
