I only took two 1mg tablets. I had a severe reaction to the point where everything went numb, if you catch my drift.

Never would touch it again. I know, "give it a chance to work" no way. If you have that sort of reaction, it's not good for your body.

I buzzed mine (see the post "Shaved Down") to a Grade 1. Personally I like it, perhaps you could consider it maybe?

But if you're not touching Fin or Minox, there may only really be Saw Palmetto or acceptance.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe later down the track I will, for the moment my hair loss isn't that bad. No one even comments or notices it, because the way I style it makes it look un-noticable. Maybe later down the track when it progresses i'll take your advice.

If I had that kind of reaction, I would discontinue right away too. After only 2 pills ?

Did you tell your doctor about it?

Yeah it was like living a nightmare dude, really horrible feeling. My dermatologist said the symptoms would subside after 2 weeks which they didn't, I got blood tests the following weeks to compare my levels before I took finasteride and my testosterone dropped from 650 down to 200.

It took me about 6months to fully function again, though i'm left with low testosterone and dry skin (moisterizer fixes it), don't get acne at all. Haven't had my levels tested for a while, but I can tell you right here right now PFS is real, i'm just lucky it's improved.

It took me a while to find a doctor who would look into my case, but found a really reputable doctor, who did i write up on finasteride and how it's not safe for hair loss.

No idea how/why I had a bad reaction, but you think baldness is bad, this was next level scary!

Can you tell me, please, how could finasteride lower your testosterone? It has nothing to do with testosterone. To the contrary, it should elevate it a bit, because testosterone is not converted to DHT. You are saying nonsense. By the way, I have also met dudes, who refuse to take finasteride and minoxidil, and lurk about internet forums asking if there is any miracle cure.

I can imagine. I was very careful at first to monitor any side effects. If I was in your shoes I would have promptly quit and seen my doctor too.

I am glad you have recovered and hopefully the remaining issues will subside.

Honestly it just looks like a mature hairline that could develop further as you get older. If fin doesn't work then I would try getting your hands on RU.

Also, he doesn't have a "hole in the back" it's called a cow lick you stupid piece of shit!
Agreed with this guy for once. Your hair looks fine. Im your age and mine looks much much worse, it's really diffused!

If you're happy with how you are then don't worry too much about it. You know what your options are right now and a HT could always come further down the line. Perhaps even limited doses of Fin might be worth it.

Its because hes on his best behavior right now. I outted him for the ridiculous Nazi Darwinism and other rhetoric.

When he has his head on straight, he contributes just fine.

                      I'm not looking for a cure...I'm fine.
Why can't I simply just share my experience without being heckled.
I have no idea, perhaps It crashed my hormones.. I had bad reaction, I have the bloods to prove it.

What do you want me to say? i'm imagined it happened?

All I know is my initial reaction was numb down stairs..Followed by waking up in a pool of sweat the next day, ball pain etc. Then progressively after a couple of weeks my testosterone levels kept dropping.

                      I don't know...
