You 're suggesting a wig or head tattoo for a 22 yr old.

      I think it would
Once you do that . If you start to lose the rest of your hair you're going to look silly

Thanks for the replys. The only reason my hairloss progressed this far is my DR put me on HCG(not on it anymore) after propecia crashed my testosterone. I haven't lost anymore hair in 6 months. I figured i'd get my hair line fixed because from looking at everyone else in my family there hair doesn't completely go bald, just thin.

I don't know what to expect. Thanks Dave, good to hear from someone who isn't cynical.

          blah..your pretty cynical hey

Not at all. Just trying to help.

I didnt want to say anything but since you brought it up, calling the medication some 'money grubbing scam' is is a form of cynical that I havent read in quite a while.

          Pretty negative stuff son.

p.s. Just look into the wig /hair system. Cant hurt to just look.

No, for when he goes Norwood 6. Hes already getting a hole in the back at age 22 which is a sure sign its not just hairline recede.

He wont be bald until hes 30. Maybe 35. No big deal.

I agree. He should try everything he can. He has a negative attitude . I have tried to suggest many more positive things he can do but he wants to remain negative.

Its like he only is willing to read what he WANTS to believe, and if its anything else he gets pissed off

At some point there is no real point of asking for others advice if its only to validate what you want to read.

If you have ever been through post finasteride syndrome you'd have the same opinion :-) ty for your honesty though.

I had a terrible experience with finasteride, so I have a reason to be against anything taken internally.

I'm all for topical treatments, i'm just a bit lost at the moment because the main treatment is finasteride and i sure as hell will never touch it again.

IMO , 22 is much too young for a HT
You don't know how your hair loss is going to progress
The way it is now , could stay that way until your 40 's
It looks fine to me but everyone reacts differently to their own appearance
                  Forget about a wig .
People can spot them miles away
I always suggest people buzz their heads , try and get use to the short buzzcut .
                  But easier said than done

I agree with Dave. You are too young for a HT . We dont know where your hair loss will end up yet so no doctor will want to touch it yet.

If Fin is a dirty word for you (and I can appreciate your unfortunate experience) then try minoxidol or some other kind. Doesnt hurt to try in the short term.

                        Cheers,

Just curious, how long did you take propecia for?

I dont know about Aeroes, but I can chime in here.

I have taken it for a month. I had an initial shed but since have stabilized.

I take 1.25mg per day and have had no major side effects. In the beginning my erections were not as hard, but now are just as hard as before.

My sex drive is the same as it always was. My semen was watered down but now is recently back to the same strength.

I do want to add a caveat. I am going on 47 years old and I have read from various sources I have about 1/2 as much testosterone as you guys have at 25 so the side effects of blocking the DHT conversion for me probably will be less.

                              Hope this helps

It's crazy that people are suggesting this guy use RU, which is nearly impossible to get.

It's literally easier to get heroin online that it is to get a clean batch of RU.
