I am also at 2 1/2 months and I have a few that are still stuck there. I was also confused as to why they didnt fall out or grow. They just sat there. I guess the follicle is dead?

I have no new hairs poking thru yet at all. And my head is a little pinkish in small clumps at this point but you really have to be looking for it to notice now.

I will feel a LOT better when I start to see the new hairs grow.

So this is another disadvantage with Dr. Gho's HST technique: ALL the hairs in the treated donor area, as well as all the hairs in the recipient area don't grow longer anymore than just around 1 mm or so - forever. This is called lenght-growth-shock, as you can see this now in his after photos.
      Scissorboy hair grew pretty long.

I've not analysed both pictures side by side yet, but...

In this picture, using the main scar as the reference point, if you look above that area (outside donor area) it seems anywhere where there is hair seems more of a pinker/tan colour. And everywhere else is slightly paler. Can you not see that? It's practically impossible to see and no doubt without a photo zoomed in you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at you.

The reason why I mention it is because I can see the same appearance all over your head including your donor area and I don't want you to think this is something new for you.

Did you shave down to a zero on friday and did you take a photo when you did that? I kinda wish you could shave your head completely just so it would give you definitive proof.

Personally I don't think you have any problems whatsoever and you have plenty of donor left, looks almost untouched.
I shaved it down on the Sunday and took the photos straight away.

I think maybe I have a really sensitive scalp which explains the redness all over.

I've sent pics to Hasci, so I'll see what they say.

        Cheers for the input Gaz.

Cheers JJJJrS, that's good to hear.

Do you have plans to go for a procedure any time soon?

hang on... you mean to say the 1250 grafts i had transplanted into my recipient area aren't going to grow longer than 1mm in length?

              They're kidding.

The hairs will grow just fine.

Surely you've noticed the grafts growing.

Like I said, I've had to shave my head twice since December... Trust me, they grow!

Thats pretty tough language dude. Lets try to be a little more optimistic than that.

I think his hair will look great. Looks good so far

Hey C5000 do you see any new hairs sprouting out already ? It's probably a bit too early in your case, but I'm just wondering ...

Checking myself every day now, almost at my 3 months milestone but nothing just yet ...

I am glad you said that Arashi. I am about to hit the 3 month mark and I have nothing yet and its starting to weird me out.

Spex , Gill and others warned us about this period . Especially our first transplant. This is when the rubber meets the road. This is when the hairs are SUPPOSED to start growing, but its not an exact science. Apparently it could be another 2 months or it can start right now.

All I want to see is little sprouts to know the proceedure worked

And the waiting is the toughest thing, but Im trying to stay postive

Haha I know EXACTLY how you feel man, I'm at that exact same spot. I was just reading back a thread from a guy on the Dutch forum, who saw his first sprouts after 2 months already. But then again, I've also read someone who had to wait 6 months. So yeah this varies a lot between people and we all know that. But nevertheless, this 3 months milestone is indeed the time when the waiting game really starts to get hard...

did any of your grafts that got transplanted survive the shedding that happens 2-8 weeks after the transplant?

                          if so, what percentage survived?

                            I'd say 1/3 survived.
