    How do you know that?
You counted ALL available grafts/FU's in your whole "donor area" which you still can see? I mean, ALL still existing FU's on your head?

sometimes you got to ask right questions, im unbiased n always ask lot of HARD questions , sometimes i ask the same questions over n over but it pays off at the end...
It's things like this that really let them down.

Before IronMan jumps down my throat, I'm still happy with my procedure, but they are just so quick to throw numbers and claims around.

I wonder what made them change their claims from 2.5 hairs per graft to 2 hairs per graft... either someone complained or they read these forums. haha

Agreed. They worked all day until I think 6 pm on my procedure and got to 1600 grafts, I think that's the max we've seen here on the forums. It's the same with that "20-80% won't shed" number. I don't think we've ever seen somebody on the forums who shed less than 50% of the transplanted hairs ? Most hasci patients seem to shed at least 50% (I'd say I've shedded 60% myself, I'm almost at 2 months now).

ive been told by feriduni n umar that they could extract that many grafts, i beleive thay are on of the best in the field of fue.

since at least 80% of hst grafts regrow i dont see reason why ALL non dht suseptible hair cant be used as donor..every nw6 have MANY thousands of hairs that WILL NOT fall off, true?

i think they were reading forums and realised some people are not just blindly following what hasci camp is claiming,

my gut feeling is that everage patients get around 1.5 hairs per graft, i cant prove it but thats prbbly closer to real number

im yet see someone who had 3000 grafts in one session, rmbr gc had only 700 grafts extracted and took whole day,

I had HSI though, not HST. HSI takes much longer.

i knew they were hiding something since they dont separete grafts in petri dish, i never bought 2.5 on average, thats a big number and results dont reflect that.

IM is too biased to see that even HST has its flaws n its business after all,

Some people reported thin recipient and they think it's because the average is WAY less than 2 (let alone 2.5). Hopefully we'll learn more about this with patient cases in the future.

Exactly - and that’s the reason why I always suggest you Umar’s 10,000 3-hair body hair grafts procedure. Works great! And you can get this too!

btw - I bought Gho's procedure just because of the flaws and actually, just for fun. Why? Because it makes fun. I like fun.

Yep! And if I'm not mistaken 2500 was itself an increase from like 1800 or 2000 in just the last year.

I was hoping for this because when I put myself into the graft calculators they usually say I need around 3000 grafts, and I would rather get it all done in one trip even if it takes two days, but it seems some of you here think this is just hype and that we won't actually be able to get 3000 grafts in 2 days?

When y'all say shed does this mean they plant the FU with the shaved down bit of hair still sticking from it when they perform FUE?

Does shed mean the hair falls out but then grows back from the cells of implanted FU?

I guess I had assumed they pluck the hair from the follicle while it's in the dish and before they plant it because I hear people talking about using a needle like with HSI, and I just couldn't fathom using a needle to inject something with a hair sticking from it. It seems too big.

                          Thanks!

Of course the hair grows back, but it takes 5 months before they start growing back (or so they say)

It's a shame if they don't do two day sessions. I got 2000 grafts done over two days via fue last year and it wasn't too bad.

Ideally I'd like to lower the hairline a touch and re-enforce the mid scalp [I'm norwood 2 w/thinning atm but would be a 4a without my transplant last year]. I'm going to go to a HASCI clinic this year; most likely Indonesia, but the biggest problem with getting only 1500 grafts is that travel is a bitch, organising accommodation, flights etc-- If there was one local I wouldn't care. This is why it would be much more convenient to be able to book for a few days of treatment.

With fue, mine started growing back after 3 months and is pretty thick atm (I'm at 5 1/2 months); I'd assume HASCI would be similar growth rate.
