I suggest the same. It's not necessary to see always the whole head in every photo (very close one big part of the extraction area including 1 ear or scar for reference is sufficient) and use macro-mode settings with a distance not more than 20 cm. Disable "Digital Zoom" and use only optical zoom.
For really sharp photos, DAYLIGHT is one key (no need for high ISO numbers because higher than ISO 200 is sh't for digi cams), and the usage of a tripod and/or the usage of the self-timer (if you can fix/stabilize the cam) is another key.
I've just had my procedure with Dr. Gho and want to share the results

some obviously do get 2500, they couldnt possibly tell config of my 2s and 3s as I just sent em my photos...
'If they manage 2:1 ratio drill/extractions, thatd be 5000 holes in your donor. itll be hard work for the body to repair all the tissue, so might affect your regeneration. Thats my understand of it.'
It makes me think its much better to have HST at younger age, you body heals better and faster..equals less chance of scarring
I ll see what hasci got to say about it, Im think if its performed by dr Gho himself then meybe its possible to have 2500 grafts and no unsuccessfull extractions..
i feel lot of techs are still 'learning'
If gho could offer me 2500 grafts, id sign up again pretty quickly! How much they charging for that now? £10k?
I really dont like their pricing scheme for London. On their site it says £6,357 for 1200 to 1400 grafts. In London i thinks it about £8000!Leave a comment:

I really wish i could get 3000 grafts of hst in one sessions, i would consider myself cured with a good yield.
The only way you might get more grafts is if you give them permission to use follciles 'not from the safe zone'.
personally, i wouldnt mind this. the hairs on my sides are doing just fine, and with meds Ive got my losses under countrol.Leave a comment:

The configuration of your 2 and 3 hair follicles are important. Do your 2 hair follicles appear in a row or all hairs from one single point? For me, 3 hair follicle has the 3 hairs spaced quite wide apart, and to make things worse, at very strange angles (like a curly haired person would have). And to make it even more difficult, different areas of the scalp differ in angles quite alot.Leave a comment:

how about this
Ive been told by other Drs that I have 4-5000 grafts avail
HASCI advize me to have 1500 grafts, I mean its not like donor will run out, besides it grows back, my hair is straight as
or they cant extract 2500 in one day, time issue ,but their website says they can..
Think of the benefits 2500 over 1500...you save time by almost 50%, thats hugeLeave a comment:

Reading between the lines over the last 18 months or since I started looking at Gho. I think head size is a factor and of course the density of your donor. The latter theoretically shouldn't be a factor because after all the donor can be used several times, but because of their conservative approach they prefer to harvest from thick donor without depleting it too much in one pass. Perhaps they only harvest e.g 5 grafts per cm2 if you only have 50 to start with, but if you have thicker donor e.g 100 grafts per cm2, perhaps they will go for around 10 per cm2. This is just my guess and of course the figures are not accurate.
From what I have heard here from forum users curly hair seems to take more time to extract, so this reduce the amount that can be harvested I'm sure!Leave a comment:

Yea I went a bit overboard, like 5 or 6 sprays over my head twice a day, something like that. It could have been a coincidence, I'll try it again next time then I'll know for sure.
Only noticed the chest pains when lying in bed on my left side. So it was obviously pressure sensitive pains, other than that nothing.
Had some mild sides now with minox (1ml a day). But only if i use it before bed.Leave a comment:

I thought that was just me with Minox sides. I don't really count minox as a med, but when I took it from Gho for a few weeks after my procedures I noticed significant chest pain and it stopped almost immediately after stopping the minox. I don't think it was anything to be worried about though. I'll be taking it again because I feel that was what stopped my shedding the 2nd time.Leave a comment:
