Anyway many have asked for pictures of the donor shaved BEFORE the procedure and compare the same area shaved again over a series of days/weeks. Would this help the community in anyway or am I wasting my time?

Judging from all the views, the cuttingEdge/ future treatments section seems to be the most popular. I think the fact the Gho has his own forum is pretty generous of BTT and it's fairly new, so to be fair you probably would have found it if you started your research in the past couple of months. I haven't seen any forum do this. Perhaps if the Gho guys didn't act like such animals they would be allowed to mingle with the "general population".

I think this is by far the best forum for hair loss on the internet, so they obviously know what they are doing. Let's just keep seeing those results. The bottom line is results. Not celebrity patients, not internet hype, just results. Keep the poison on hairsite Ironman and let's keep the honest discussions here.

I think the problem is the way this forum isolate the HST section, i think it's totally unfair and most members of BTT are not even aware of this section or of the option of having HST beside FUE and FUT. HST is a current hair transplant and members should have the option of writing about it in the same section that FUE and FUT topics are posted, but instead the moderators here decide to isolate it and move any topic you write about HST to this section which is not even a main section and is hidden under "hair loss treatments", even ppl who share their HST results in the "start your own topic" or "HT results" sections have their threads removed to this section, which prevent many forum members to even know that there is a third option.
I agree nobody should bully others to have HST nor questioning others if they choose other techniques but at least i beleive it's fine for HST beleivers to participate in any topic in this forum just to let ppl know there is another option available now and then they can choose for themselves. I say this based on my own experience i have been around this forum and other hair loss forums for over 3 years and just recently i got to know that there was another HT option available today beside FUE and FUT which is HST, and then i made up my mind and did it. If i knew about it earlier i would have went through with it instead of waisting so long just worrying about FUT and FUE scars and donor supply limitation. I disagree with the way some HST beleivers express their feelings aggressively but i gotta give props where props are due, if it wasn't for them participating on other topics and bringing up HST all the time, i would have never learned about it since me along with many ppl who join those forums usually just go to the general section and results section where no topics about HST are allowed to stay there.

I am of course going for my third session with Gho in 3 months or so. I'll be documenting my case again, this time though I'll be completely shaving my head for the first time in my life. Worried isn't the word!

The only way I can do this is by shaving/buzzing my head maybe the day before my procedure, simply because there is no time to be taking pics on the day of the procedure when I'm with Gho!

Question is how short should I be buzzing it for the hair it to be long enough for the extraction, but short enough for the pictures to be not distorted by hair overlapping other hairs?

People like NeedhairASAP and Ironman operate through divisiveness. It's not only unproductive it's poisonous to the forums and to people looking for help. I am glad the Aim4hair is sharing and documenting his experience for us and I hope other's do as well, but I think the HST Vs. FUE or FUT argument has to end. Let people make up their own minds. If they think that HST is worth it and will work out best for them, then they should go in that direction, but if they choose FUT or FUE, why should they be questioned or bullied if they feel that this is the best direction for them. NeedHairASAP was a major thread hijacker and bully. He talked crap and bashed forum members, doctors and anyone who even questioned the great Dr. Gho and HST. I think Topcat has the right to give him a little taste of his own medicine.

This section of the forum is much better off without people like NeedHairASAP. The Hairsite mentality needs to stay on Hairsite. We just want to see results and hear people's experiences. That it!

I don't know why all the rage, it's up to him if he wants to document his case or not...yes he was jumping in topics and advising ppl to go for Gho, so what? Many ppl here would jump to topics as well and advice against FUT or strip because they beleive it's not the way to go, also FUT beleivers would jump to topics and advice against FUE..
Point is, he was promoting something he beleived in and the prove is he went for the procedure and did it, so he wasn't just bullshitting.

Now it's up to ppl to express their opinion freely on forums and advice toward what they beleive is right, it's not really patients responsibility to prove whether HST works or not, that's dr. Gho responsibility and he beleives that he provided enough evidence and apparently he is right and that's why all of their clincs are booked and they are expanding to more countries.

Now can somebody tell me why needhairasap's case will convince you if the peer review journals, gc83uk case, and all the positive feedback you read from every Gho patient who had an HST, did not ?

Needhairasap for someone that is so outspoken on Gho I would have expected up close photos embedded right into the thread not links or tiny pictures that show nothing. You now have a chance to prove your case how about spending some time and energy and actually doing it.

Agreed. After begin so vocal about HASCI, one would expect some good documentation of your procedure. Anyway I've just booked my own procedure for mid November with HASCI. I'll make sure to post high res pictures every day. Not only because I think it would greatly benefit this community if more people would do this, but more importantely I just NEED to know myself as well if regrowth really occurs. Cause if it does, you bet I'll make another appointment next year again !
