Well if you watch all the patient videos on his site, non of the results seem dramatic. At least four people who
received the treatment looked like they
would still need significantly more work.
I will say his procedure seems less invasive which is good. However if he really wants to convince people, he needs to perform repeated surgeries on those patients until they have good density while still maintaining their donor hair.

All Dr. Gho needs to do is present to a group of other doctors who will verify his technique, because despite some forum members beliefs that every other hair restoration doctor is corrupt, I would think that likes of doctors Charles, Cole and Lindsey for example would have the sense to recognize a procedure that would advance their practice.

I agree with you about this. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. I think at the very least we might all get an even more refined version of FUE with even less scaring - thats hardly a bad thing.

At best Gho kicks ass and his technique becomes a mainstream practice. I doubt he can patent jack shit since he hardly invented this - at best he's refined something.

    ****ing patent laws. Such bullshit.

Proof of the pud is in the eating. Thats all I have to say about that.

All that old article does is prove part of the theory supporting Gho's method. But the only thing that matters is whether it works in practice and I have yet to see any evidence at all of that.

And despite a lot of browsing I have yet to come across a single post saying Gho is a talented or honest doctor. In fact most posts are about how he's been spewing bullshit for 10 years straight and never backed anything up with proof. Not ruling him out, but not exactly hopeful either.

Like the liver follicles regenerate, cut off a small part of the liver it will grow back, it's only a matter of time before FUE clinics are ****erd thanks to Gho - and more power to him!
I think I speak for everyone when I say We all want this to work. RichardDawkins has not made this anymore conclusive.

so is Gho a liar? or is it super obvious that his technique (leaving papilla behind and taking some) works. His technique also answers the question posed in the article about how the papilla cells can't be out in the open too long or they lose whatever it is that makes them grow into a hair follicle again.... in ghos procedure the papilla is taken out (and put into a special solution that probably lengthens this time period) and then transplanted pretty soon... while the other papilla never leaves the site...

What is yours and RD objection to this? A few months back you were demanding that doctors Hitzig and Cooley conduct controlled studies to prove their findings.
I just want to see the same thing with this.

Well I remember hearing Gho's extraction needle is significantly smaller but I've also heard nape hair isn't permanent.

For years now people have wondered how he got his locks back so full. Maybe it's Gho or similiar. Makes sense.

We will see, if Gho will increase his graft harvesting sessions like to be on par with FUE (for example 3000 Graft sessions) then we can say for sure that my theory was right.

Another example for this is this one guy from here who had 1500 harvested but they could only cultivate around 500 Grafts but he can come back in ten months and get it for free.

I dont know why, but i blieve that at least Cooley and Cole got in touch with Gho because otherwise they wont be so chilled all the time and laugh about naysayers. Nevertheless my believe is that we will have serious problems of shortings in 2012 when it comes to restoration because demand for certain transplants will far exceeds the supply
Unless you have spoken to Dr. Gho personally, all of the above is speculation on your part. While we all VERY MUCH want it to be true, at this time there is no word from Dr. Gho to prove you're right.
I think this is a good thread but it should be based on facts not hearsay.
If Dr. Gho could present on this forum like some of the other doctors here it would go a long way to supporting his credibility.

Of course, if the donor areas regenerate than at least those patients can have additional procedures to hopefully get more density in the recipient area and better hairlines. Wesley what's-his-name looks good, but I have yet to find a picture of his grown out results. Even if Gho can regenerate hair, I worry that he might lack the requisite surgical skills to create aesthetically pleasing results.

I also think we may be jumping the gun a bit. Has Gho's technique been verified by any independent party using objective methods? Has anyone verified that the "plucked" hairs regrow with the same thickness that they had before? Or do they grow back thinner and weaker? I want this to work, but I have so many concerns
Very well put. I think that if this procedure is as successful as some forum members believe. Then it will address the problem of limited donor hair. Still there is an art to hair transplant surgery. all you have to do is look at the artistic skill of Hasson & Wong over less skilled surgeons and you realize it's not just about sticking hair where it's missing. It comes down to proper placement and direction of growth. Although I do think if it is successful it would be appropriate for smaller fill-in cases.
