In this case, I would have to use a soft brush or just a hefty shower rather than a comb for styling my hair - the teeth of the comb would break through!
And now show us a photo in normal light instead of the shades, so we can all have a good laugh.

As far as I remember, my answer was “No Way!” – or something like that. That means, I KNEW in advance, that I simply can’t get this …

… with just around 1400 grafts!

Furthermore, did I’ve ever had such a mane and dense hairline at all, like the lion on the right side?
Let me look - seems not really …

The very sexy and precise self-made haircut aside (lol), I always had rather fine (dark brown) hair. With the pic above, you can even pretty good estimate where my hairline ever started; in fact, rather pretty high. So what I always and ever had before going bald step-by-step (from the front area towards the tonsure area), I always had rather very fine hair – but lots of rather fine hair for at least a normal coverage. So basically, there is nothing unusual for a Caucasian guy.

Anyway, here are a few 9-month update pics. The hair is always wet in the photos, so that I was able to comb the hair back and finally, to get close-up pics of the implanted and growing hair. I didn’t shave or “trim” anything since the procedure...

Below: Front area 9 month later ...

Personally, I don’t expect a quantum leap of any noticeable improvement in the coming month concerning the density, because I got already, in fact, the density as implanted and finally as expected. That means, everything it needs now in the front area is simply increasing the density in the front area, while already starting to shrink somewhat the bald area behind the front area at the same time with another/2nd procedure. Or in simply words, everything works so far as planned. My next/2nd procedure is in around 3 month.

      Comparison:
The following 2 photos compares my current situation and density...

...with a randomly choosen "high-quality dense packing" result from the WWW:

That means, my next aim is to increase the density in the front area. And if you have any suggstions concerning my hairline - let me know ...
I always thought IM was a NW6 and 40 odd years old.

He is 40. He also had several procedure done before, even back in the days when there was only FUT, so he has a huge scar on the back of his head. I think I have that picture somewhere, hold on ...

Personally I think this is the nature with all types of hair doubling. If the donor allows it and it's a big if, then I would settle for 1000's of singles.

I suspect that Dr Nigam will yield many singles in the recipient also. Of course he can use slightly larger needles for extraction, but then there is more work going into avoiding scaring in the donor.

Do you expect to see in the implantation area and with my clear as the sky CLOSE-UP photos more hair or lesser hair with "normal light" photos - or exactly the same amount?

Ahhhhhh, now I know from where you got your extraction holes number in gc's case - because he used "normal light"!!

Anyway, I like your post, because it clearly indicates, that you find my 9-month result pretty good.

But no, it's just optical. When the hair is a bit longer the contrast with the skin color is less obvious, the difference is gone. Here it's only slightly longer and you already don't see much difference anymore: http://s18.postimg.org/id7uxl32x/20130524_195535.jpg
If the hair is long as in your pictures, it's unnoticable.
Arashi in both of the pics you posted the transplant hair seems to be at the wrong angle. Similar to what I've seen from terrible doctors, none of the hairs seem to be growing at the same angle. Is this something you've brought up with the clinic?

I think it looks really bad. It's an obvious hair transplant, everyone will know it's transplanted hair

That's the problem I see with many hair transplants, they all claim to give you natural, undetectable HT..
they don't realise its not enough to get hair to grow, you have to get angle right, its fkn crucial, then hair from the back of head is way too 'strong' for hairlines(color /calibre don't match with existing hair),

In arashis case I could tell which hairs are from HT and which are his native hairs , it shdnt be the case. I would complain, they cant deny it, its obvious.
If you zoom it in you will see many hairs grow in wrong direction

Ok a good transplant might go undetected among those who know nothing about hair. But keep in mind those who do know about hair loss can easily tell

I don't believe that. If you can spot a hair transplant then by definition it is a bad hair transplant.
