That said, in respect to photography, you can be damn sure I'd take proper photos, but I don't know if I'd want to keep my head shaved for long.
Shaving down regularly would be needed for sure. And it should be managable, preferably 100 grafts but anything above 500 would become impossible. But if I'd put $1000 in, I'd only do that if we could focus on 100 grafts.

I'd possible give it some though...going out that is.

Only issue is that I am studying for the foreseeable future so this might get in the way.

Plus, I'd have to ask you all to trust me

I trust you for sure but I don't think I've ever seen a photo. We really need someone who knows how to shoot good photo's cause I really don't want to be dependent on Nigams for photo's.

Well, a photo of your hairline for example, showing that you know how to shoot good, clear photo's which we can use to count grafts. If you can produce that and if you want a sponsored trip to Nigams to get 100 grafts and then document everything here, I'm sure something could be worked out.

Yeah the Caribbean is nice for sure Great weather, low taxes, love it

$1,000 isn't necessary from just you, I'm sure others would pitch in. I don't need much for accommodation either, as I've got family in Trier, Germany which isn't too far from Belgium (I'm assuming thats where Dr. Mwamba is).

It's definitely possible for me to do it.

Exactly, if some people chip in some money, who knows what it will add up to. I'm sure more people would want to pay money for a case we can follow here from somebody who we can reasonably trust. So maybe the test candidate doesn't just get a free trip, he can maybe even make some money in the end And maybe Nigams would want to chip in something too ?

I'm sure Mwamba can set up his own trust worthy case that he can document, he talked about doing that in the interview

From next year 15 000-20 000 grafts HTs will be normal

I'm sure he will. But the problem is that I'm also sure that Mwamba won't give us any updates. He'll just present his case when he's finished all his research. And I would just want to pay money for a case we can follow here online. I'd love to see a 3 month, 4 month and 5 month update. I'd hate to wait a year, like Spencer suggests it might take.

50 graft into slick bald area I the best think of, easy to follow.
Sure Dr Mwamba would do it for free, we need someone local from Belgium so no need to pay for accommodation/flight.

I don't think Mwamba should do it. He's still experimenting. Besides he can't do the de-novo in Belgium, it can only be done in India.

Well, I'm not looking into cashing in on this, just enough to cover the expenses and potentially any unexpected expenses as well (always happens on trips).

My job would be the biggest hurdle. Canada is a gigantic f**kup when it comes to time off from work. Most people only get about 2 weeks off from work per year and rarely give both weeks off in a row. Essentially, I'd need to use up one of my vacation weeks to go for an experimental treatment. Either that, or I go on a long weekend and take an extra day off from work, therefor:

                            - Leave on a Thursday night
                            - Arrive in Belgium on a Friday morning
                            - Meet with Dr. Mwamba Friday, prepare, etc.
                            - Go in for the procedure on Saturday
                            - Fly back on Sunday

Which gives me an extra day JUST IN CASE anything goes wrong. But at this point I'd have to be in Belgium. Trier, Germany would (and should be) out of the question to save time.

I don't think Mwamba should do it. And I doubt he'd even want to. I think he's going to experiment, see what works best and only when he's confident what works and what doesn't, he'll present output to us. So this really should be about a trip to Nigams.

But who knows, maybe Mwamba would be willing to participate ? Of course he can't do the de-novo but if the in-vitro works, that's about all we need to know, that alone pretty much solves hairloss. If he'd take 50 grafts out of donor and put it all just below the hairline, then we don't even have to monitor donor. We'd just have to watch those 50 (split into 100) grafts just below the hairline. So shaving wouldn't even be necessary.

Though I'd prefer of course if we could get somebody to Nigams and get him to do the de-novo.
