Hard to tell. I didn't keep good track, and grew my hair out immediately after surgery... after two years of a shaved head. I believe I have close to 100% growth in recipient, and there is no noticeable difference in my donor-- so assuming a high regeneration back there too.

I found some pre-gho photos, I will make a different post for my photos... not very scientific, but

So, ENJOY the transplanted hairs at least a few years!
    What does this mean?
Aren't the transplanted hairs taken from the safe zone? And they are not supposed to fall of??

Censur , I am very happy for you brother-
Do yourself a favor by NOT speculating what the condition of your HT will be in a few years. You have had some GREAT work done by a well respected clinic young man. Focus on the now, enjoy the hair progression that you will certainly see every day..I am jealous--lol.
Thank you thus far for sharing your experience Censur !!

i think you will be quite happy.

Another procedure on the crown-- maybe with some sprinkled up front, and you could have a nice head of hair (with a little toppik in the back)-- or nice shaved head.

As is, I think you'll be able to shave your head and have a nice framed face.

I guess the transplanted hairs haven't fallen of yet?
If you were to make a qualified guess about the final result of this HST, about a year from now, will the recipient area look better or less good compared to how it's looking right now? I don't really know what to expect.

Right now I feel okay about my decision to go ahead with the HST.
I just see that the hair loss all over my head is pretty severe. I have also gotten some pimples in the scalp which makes it look a bit nasty I guess.
I think the hairline they designed is very natural and gives you a much stronger frame for the face. Everything looks very nice at this point. If the results hold up over time, it should be a significant improvement over where you started, which is impressive considering that the procedure is relatively small.

The donor, of course looks pristine. I think the buzz cut you have now suits you quite well, so it should be very comforting knowing that you can always go with that route in the future if you choose to.

Does anyone else have any comments to the pictures from my HST?

I have uploaded them in this thread now, but they are on the previous page, so you don't see them just by viewing the last entries in this thread.

It will make a noticeable difference, but you will for sure need at least 2 other procedures imo

Like I wrote in my post, I am thinking about two more.
However, it is possible that I will have to do a bit more than that.
Depends on how my donor grafts are feeling as well. If they actually recover or not...
But right now I don't even know if the result of the first one will be any good.

Here is one picture of the recipient area one day after the surgery as well as several pictures of both donor and recipient area taken six days after surgery.
    That's it for this update.

What do you think about the pictures?
What do you think about my situation? Do these 1500+ grafts feel pretty much like a drop in the ocean, or do you think they will do a massive difference?

If everything turns out well I am counting on doing at least two more of these transplants at HASCI. However, I am still not sure this will be enough to save me from my hair nightmare...

After the hair line had been plotted out with a pen, Mrs Small made all the holes in the recipient area. After that the staff implanted all the grafts in the holes.

First a picture of the donor area a couple of hours after extraction.
Then some pictures of the recipient area right after the implants.
