Downside is of course that thick hair like that is difficult to extract with a small drill when it comes to a cluster of 3 hairs.

She mailed me this photo to show how small the extraction sites are compared to 3 hair clusters:

Here is another pic which explains the problem(s)...

Is the scar actually in the picture which I used and encircled? If so whereabouts is it?
Yeah it is. These 2 photo's should help you locate it:

I think this picture is quite good to get at least all extraction points left of the scar
OK, so where have I encircled recipient grafts?

Nevertheless - I think the game is over. Here are the reasons:

    1) Let's assume Kristel is able to come-up with Day-0 photos, these photos must be

    a) extremely good close-up photos (I doubt that - as predicted);
    b) even so, as you and other HST patients know, the extraction area is immediately after extractions mostly "too unclean" - or in other words, mostly not clean enough (due to a mix of blood-clots and the Fucidine-cream) to see really CLEAN extraction sites.

    2) As you just noticed yourself - IF JamesBald is unable to take REALLY good photos within the coming 24 hours - THE GAME WILL BE OVER!

Furthermore, the extraction area itself is simply too big - and that's exactly why I initially meant "Kristel will be forced to use a bigger area!" - due to the old FUE-scars. In additon, around 200 grafts is EXTREMLY difficult and tiresome to analyze and to make good photos (ALL extraction sites clearly visible in 1 photo!).

All in all, as predicted - GAME (almost) OVER!
I do agree it's extremely important James puts in some great effort here today in shooting pictures, otherwise the analysis is going to be way more difficult and way less reliable.

That's a backhanded compliment if I ever saw one

Your last point about the area is true, it's a shame that we are testing on a repair patient, however I still appreciate James' contribution with this, we'll just have to make the best of it!

I've circled anything that looked like an extraction, but I'm NOT saying for sure all these circles are the actual 203 extractions. I have circled approx 250 or 260.

Why we couldn't have just done 50 in a smaller area! Statistically it's better, but for ease of analysis it's awkward unless the pics are up to scratch.

Just need some others to do the same and come to a consensus which are the actual extractions and which are just maybe a bit of blood in the way or whatever!

I really appreciate your effort, GC, but let's first see if HASCI has taken better pictures themselves and hopefully James can shoot some good ones today. If not, we're doomed to what we have and I'll have a go at it as well.
