Alright so I finally got the premixed RU plus 5% from mpb's,
It was a very slow shipping after I paid especially for express shipping, and after all that I got 2 bottles instead of 3
they're great!
So I used it a few hours ago...and I must say it smells exactly like Alpecin,
and when you apply it, it feels the same too.
The only good thing is that the feeling after applying it was really good, like my hairline is without the pain and itching I got all the time.
I really don't know if this is a real RU or not and this is, ladies and gentleman, being desperate.
I'll continue using it every night, I just don't know yet if I should apply it ater or before the minox 15%.
I consider adding capillogain in mornings.
Tell me what you think.Comment

I would definitely purchase from Kane next time and you can be the Jury on which is better. Kane's is certainly real and of good quality.Alright so I finally got the premixed RU plus 5% from mpb's,

I would use capillogain nights and apply it an hour after the RU.
Where do you get the 15% minoxComment

Actually...The shampoo seems too weird like it's some juice, feels like it doesn't clean anything.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm off the shampoo now.
Still gonna use the serum, I think.Comment

Not to be rude, but where exactly is the evidence that this works? I'm definitely thinking of getting on it soon, since Propecia gave my slight gyno sides, and I could use a boost in the hairline region anyways, but if you search the product on google, you don't seem to get many studies or anything really legitimate about RU.
Maybe I'm doing the searches wrong or not looking in the right places, but aside from the one guy's story (irishpride or whatever), I haven't found any actual studies. If someone could link me to the science/efficacy of these treatments, at least on a small scale (since it obviously it made it to the market), that would be great, thanks!Comment

Keep an eye out for some of the photographs I'll be posting. I've been keeping a log of pictures since I started my regimen. Not to be rude, but where exactly is the evidence that this works? Hellouser: What should I jump on to see results? My hair has started tanking as of late and I desperately need to do something else.
I'm currently using Rogain Foam and Capillogain topically and nothing orally, besides vitamin E (TocoCaps) and MSM and vitC.
I CANNOT use Fin, but desperately need to do something internally. Is RU the answer. Where do I go from here man? Sh*t is starting to get depressing for me as I just saw photos of me in bright lighting at an outside work event. I almost fainted.Comment

That'd be great, thanks, but I've been lurking for a while now: I've seen you write that CB has the potential to be 4x as effective as fin (with the right vehicle) and I've seen you praise RU a good bit as well.
I guess I just want to know what you know about the product:
If RU was being developed but didn't make it, how did people know the vehicle with RU? (is there a study that there isn't for CB?)
Has there ever been an RU study? A CB one?
If not a study of efficacy, then has there been a study of the science behind it? Anything?
Or are there no RU studies and the product is based on forum members only. Again, that doesn't necessarily it de-legitimize it for me, but I would like some straight answers to the questions if you know them.Comment

RU, definitely should be your #1 choice. But it needs to be at high doses in order to be effective. In my opinion, 30mg or less is useless and a complete waste of money.Hellouser: What should I jump on to see results? If you still want to be taking something orally, I'd probably give Keratene a try. If not, at least Saw Palmetto.
I'm fairly sure I've made some significant gains with Minox and RU. I'll post photos eventually, but gotta compile everything and write out a *clear* and easy to understand log.Comment

I don't know as I've only been aware of RU since 2 years ago, but anyone that knows basic chemistry/biology would have figured out that if it can dissolve in ethanol and dry slower with PG, then it would work well. You could say there were others doing a trial and error with vehicles. I'm sure there was some mention of the vehicle in the original studies a long time ago with RU.
Yes and YES. Cosmo is doing clinical trials on CB-03-01, you should look into their findings.Has there ever been an RU study? A CB one?
Yes. You'll have to search around on the net. Cosmo is pretty open about what CB, just refer to their site, follow their newsletter and you'll get updates on what theyre up to.If not a study of efficacy, then has there been a study of the science behind it? Anything?

Ill second what hellouser said about RU. I am also seeing results, right now lots of small hairs growing pretty long that were never there before. In a few weeks ill be posting my second picture which should be about 2.5 months into treatment. If the hairs RU has grown thus far get thicker(length is already there) ill be at a NW1 from a NW2.
Good luckComment

You won't find a ton of legitimate information on RU. I have searched for a year and found very little. It went through phase 2 studies with a company called Prostraiken. However, the studies were never made public in either the phase 1 nor phase 2 studies. I have found the text where the CEO of Prostraiken claiming RU is better than fin at 6 month period. That's all I've found! The monkey study, the mouse study really don't mean shit to me. There is basically no human studies available. I even emailed Prokstraken asking them for the study. Not to be rude, but where exactly is the evidence that this works? CB seems to be more promising in this area as far as studies go. It also seems to be more promising in terms of safety and efficacy. It is in its early stages of use with the general population sp prices are high and getting the exact correct formulation has been difficult for some. I bet soon we will all have legit form 111 CB and growing many, many hairs!Comment

I'll 3rd that. RU definitely works! But other things work too like CB and ASC-J9. I have seen great photo results of each. IT's great to have all these options!Ill second what hellouser said about RU. I am also seeing results, right now lots of small hairs growing pretty long that were never there before.
